Battle Stations

Kicker recaps the previous several episodes at the beginning of this one and there’s a lot of footage of Unicron included. The Autobots finally arrive near Unicron with plans for destroying him with their energon grid from inside the planet devourer. The Autobots fly through Unicron and are nearly crushed by a narrowing tunnel. The Autobot ship suffers damage and Unicron somehow begins pursuing them. The Decepticons are apparently in the same half of Unicron that Alpha-Q was in last episode (flushing continuity down the toilet) and also begin pursuing the Autobots to take Prime alive. The Autobots try to lure Unicron to the spacebridge. Everyone goes through the spacebridge and the fighting continues through hyperspace.
Kicker wants to go looking for Ironhide and one of the Energon minicons makes an appearance to help him escape the battle to find his partner. Meanwhile, Ironhide awakens inside Unicron and finally meets Alpha-Q. Misha surprises Kicker and joins him in the search for Ironhide.
The Decepticons arrive outside Cybertron only to be blasted with energon by the planet’s energon grid. Megatron partially transforms Unicron in an attempt to crush Cybertron. Just before Unicron’s destroyed by an energon blast, Megatron warps it away. Rodimus’ ship exits hyperspace in front of Kicker and Mish and Rodimus asks that they join him. The two do so and the episode ends.
