Laser Wave - Rampage

The title for this episode seems to have been translated poorly since I'm pretty sure Laser Wave is Shockblast's name in the Japanese version of the show.
This episode pretty much begins with Alpha-Q trying to summon Kicker to help him find more energon as Unicron’s head travels through space. The prison break continues back on Cybertron and Shockblast breaks into a restricted area, killing a nameless Autobot in his path. He ends up in Cybertron’s energon core. Prime and company pursue some nameless robots pursuing Shockblast. One of them’s given a name, Padlock, and Shockblast takes him hostage just long enough to escape and then kills the unlucky Autobot. Padlock’s corpse turns black just like G1 Prime’s in Transformers: The Movie. The other Autobot introduces himself as Wing Dagger.
Shockblast tries contacting Megatron upon reaching Cybertron’s surface. Tidal Wave continues to distrust Shockblast, and Megatron puts all the Decepticon forces under Shockblast’s command to steal energon from Cybertron’s core. Shockblast orders the Decepticons to crash the mobile fortress into Cybertron’s energy grid while he destroys an energon tower to make a hole in the grid. The Decepticons soon start fighting amongst themselves. Prime uses an energon star to defeat Shockblast by reflecting energon back at him. Megatron arrives on the scene and Shockblast manages to destroy another energon tower before Megatron orders a retreat.
Jetfire radios in telling Prime that he’s found Kicker, Ironhide, Misha, and Unicron’s head. Not bad for a secondary character who gets one line of dialogue every other episode. Rodimus tries to explain to Prime why they need Kicker, but Prime won’t hear it and starts a fight. Rodimus powerlinks with Prowl and it’s on like Donkey Kong, well, at least until Kicker stops the two of them.
Tidal Wave and Shockblast can’t get along and there’s a lot of pointless dialogue between the Decepticons and the whole scene’s wasted. Kicker takes Prime to meet Alpha-Q
One final note, “Wing Dagger?” Yeah, I really wonder if he’ll turn into Wing Saber
