Unicron Unleashed

Cybertron has weather since this episode starts out with it raining as Prime tells the Autobots to start repairing Wing Dagger. Tidal Wave’s been reformatted into Mirage and leads an attack through the hole in Cybertron’s energon grid. Mirage’s voice is very similar to Tidal Wave’s and his speech pattern is almost the same as well. Terrorcons start pouring in during the confusion to steal Cybertron’s energon. Shockblast blows open an entrance to the Chamber of Primus and the Terrorcons get in and start feeding off of Primus’ energon. Prime tells Rad to redirect all the energon into the towers to keep the Terrorcons from stealing any more. The towers, now supercharged, start destroying many of the Terrorcons. Some do manage to escape with Shockblast though.
Kicker arrives via spacebridge on Arcee too late for the battle. Ironhide is once again paired up with Kicker and they’re sent back to Unicron. Prime tells Rad to finish repairing Wing Dagger and we see that he is indeed going to become Wing Saber. In Unicron’s head, Alpha-Q has apparently regressed to childhood and wants to meet Kicker’s father after hearing about him.
Megatron praises Shockblast for his work and there’s still tension between him and Mirage. Unicron’s body starts moving and he’s colored the same as the Energon version of the toy. Unicron starts transforming and Alpha-Q goes back into his depressed Goth mode and claims that Unicron can’t be controlled. Prime is unable to damage Unicron and the other Autobots have their hands full fighting off the Decepticons. In an awkward homoerotic moment, Hot Shot suggests he and Rodimus powerlink to fight the enemy. Alpha-Q demands energon to be able to control Unicron and manipulates the humans into enlisting Kicker’s dad’s aid. Dr. Jones flips out when Kicker tells him they need all of Earth’s energon, but he does comply.
Alpha-Q starts moving Unicron’s head as Megatron orders Unicron’s fully-transformed body to begin devouring Cybertron. The head rams into the body, creating an entrance for the Autobots to enter Unicron and go after Megatron. The episode ends with Megatron mentioning a dangerous big surprise for Prime.
