This episode picks up exactly where the last one ended with most of the Autobots running through Unicron in search of Megatron. Inferno almost gets a headshot off on Shockblast, but a forcefield deflects the shot. This, logically, prompts Shockblast to talk about how he’ll control Unicron and threaten Megatron.

Ironhide joins the other Autobots just in time to nearly be crushed by a falling piece of Unicron. Alpha-Q is able to manipulate even Unicron’s body to save them and then tries to destroy Megatron with shards of Unicron in his throne room. Megatron reverses the attack and fires shards back at Alpha-Q. Kicker tells Alpha-Q to ignore Megatron and help Prime destroy Megatron instead by joining the Autobot team. Alpha-Q agrees to help.

Inferno’s still running through Unicron alone and is saved by a Decepticon ambush by Scorponok’s timely arrival. Back on Earth, Dr. Jones tries to gather up all the energon to transfer it to the Autobots. Alexis contacts him and whines about how he doesn’t know what he’s doing and there’s a whole bunch of boring human dialogue.

Prime challenges Megatron and forces him to open a passage to his throne room so they can fight one on one. Prime gets his arm blown off by Shockblast and orders the rest off after Megatron. This leaves him defenseless when Snowcat and Demolishor find him.

In the Chamber of Primus, Wing Dagger is reborn as Wing Saber and Rad sends him off to rescue Prime. Scorponok arrives first and frightens off Snowcat and Demolishor but quickly deserts Prime, asserting that he only serves Alpha-Q. Shockblast arrives in Megatron’s throne room and Megatron seemingly forfeits leadership, the Autobots get the stolen energon from the Decepticons, and Unicron’s body starts falling apart with everyone still inside. Alpha-Q gains control over a now rebuilt Unicron. Then there’s a whole lot of shiny lights for some reason.
