Episode Died In: Transformers: The Movie

Bio: Shrapnel was the dreaded leader of the Insecticons. Along with Kickback and Bombshell, Shrapnel caused many problems for the Autobots (as well as the Decepticons). The Insecticons show no allegiance to anyone and only work for themselves, even if they do agree to take Megatron's orders every now and then. At one time, the Insecticons got so out of control, that if the Autobots and Decepticons did not work together to stop them, then Shrapnel and his 2 troops could have destroyed them. Even though they are small in size, Shrapnel and the Insecticons should not be taken lightly.


Cause of Death: Shrapnel met the same fate as Megatron and the other injured Decepticons did after they were thrown out of Astrotrain by Starscream and the other healthy Decepticons. Unicron "reformatted" Shrapnel into a Sweep to serve his new master, Scourge (formerly Thundercracker).
