Personal
Profile: Starscream was one of the more popular characters
in the Transformers. Right from the beginning he made it known that
he planned on assassinating Megatron and taking leadership of the Decepticons.
He tried over and over but Megatron kept coming back. Starscream
believed that speed was more important than raw power. His alt mode
was an F-15 jet, the same as Thundercracker and Skwarp. Starscream's
skills were far superior to his two "brothers" though.

Cartoon
Bio: Before the Great War, Starscream was a scientist.
He was good friends with Skyfire. The two of them were sent on a mission
to Earth. During their visit, a storm hit and Skyfire was lost.
Starscream returned to Cybertron without his friend. Soon after,
the War began and Starscream chose to fight for the Decepticons. Millions of
years past and Starscream had risen in the ranks of the Decepticons to become
second in command, under Megatron. He made it obvious that he thought
Megatron was incompetent and said he should be leader of the Decepticons.
He was aboard the Ark when it crashed on Earth and was knocked off-line with
all the others for the next four million years. When the Decepticons were awakened
in 1984, Starscream wanted to destroy what remained of the Autobots. Megatron
said it was a waste of energy. While the Decepticons were leaving the
Ark, Starscream fired several shots on it, he didn't know that his shots had
shaken the Ark enough for Optimus Prime to fall under the reconstruction beam,
and thus it is Starscream's fault that the Autobots were rebuilt as well. The
Decepticons were in the north when they discovered Skyfire. They revived
him and Starscream was glad to have his old friend back. But Skyfire was
not like the other Decepticons, he didn't believe in their cause, and refused
to attack the Autobots. Starscream was infuriated and shot Skyfire, the
two became enemies ever since. After an attempt to destroy the Earth by bringing
Cybertron into Earth's atmosphere, Megatron's ship was destroyed and was believed
to be dead. Starscream took this opportunity to claim leadership of the
Decepticons. He formed an alliance with Dr. Archival and planned to destroy
the Earth using an ancient source of energy, but his plans were foiled when
Megatron returned and thwarted Starscream's plans. Starscream continued fighting
for the Decepticons under the command of Megatron. He made some short
attempts to become leader again but never succeeded. Megatron always belittled
Starscream in front of the Decepticons and it was a fact that the two hated
each other. Finally Starscream had had enough and shot Megatron in the
back. Megatron regained his strength and fired on Starscream. Megatron
then ordered Lazerbeak to take Starscream to a deserted island where he would
be exiled. On the island, Starscream found several old World War 2 vehicles.
He decided that if he couldn't lead the Decepticons, he would lead his own army.
He went to Cybertron and stole the personality components of five Decepticon
war criminals. He then put them in bodies he built out of the old war
vehicles and gave birth to the Combaticons. Starscream and the Combaticons
attacked both the Autobots and Decepticons and were successful both times.
Megatron and the Decepticons had a showdown with Starscream and the Combaticons.
Megatron looked like he was about to achieve victory when Devastator appeared.
But Starscream had built the Combaticons to be able to merge and that's what
they did when they formed Bruticus. Bruticus defeated Devastator easily.
Bruticus then grabbed Megatron and Starscream forced Megatron to declare him
as new leader. But before that, Menasor appeared and hit Bruticus from
behind knocking him into his separated Combaticon parts. Starscream and
the Combaticons were then exiled from Earth. The Combaticons decided to fight
for themselves and betrayed Starscream. They attacked Cybertron and tried
to destroy the Earth. Starscream formed an alliance with Shockwave but
the two weren't enough to stop the Combaticons. Finally Megatron and the
Autobots appeared and Starscream told them Bruticus' weak spots, allowing them
to defeat him. Megatron let Starscream back into the Decepticon ranks
and reprogrammed the Combaticons to serve him. Starscream remained in the Decepticon
ranks under Megatron's command until 2005. After a brutal battle with
Optimus Prime, Megatron had been severely injured. Starscream kicked his
fallen leader and ordered the Decepticons to retreat. On the way back
to Cybertron, Astrotrain had said there was too much weight he had to carry.
Starscream said that the should throw the weaker Decepticons into space and
the Decepticons agreed. Thundercracker, Skywarp and some Insecticon clones
were thrown out along with Megatron, who was thrown out by Starscream personally.
This is odd because there is no weight in space, but is believed that Astrotrain
and Starscream were conspiring together to get rid of Megatron. Starscream then
made his bid for leadership of the Decepticons. Both the Constructicons
and Soundwave opposed and said that they were better fit to lead. A fight
broke out within Astrotrain, Starscream must have had the help of the Seekers,
because he was the one who ended up being chosen to lead. He had a coronation
ceremony for himself on Cybertron soon after. The ceremony was interrupted
by Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps (who were the new and improved
versions of Megatron, Skywarp, Thundercracker and the Insecticons. They
had been reformatted by Unicron.) Starscream was able to identify Galvatron
as being Megatron. Galvatron immediately got revenge on Starscream by
shooting him in his cannon mode. Starscream's body turned black and then
it crumbled to the floor in ashes. About a year later, Octane was running from
the Decepticons and was hiding in a tomb that honored fallen Decepticons.
He was horrified to find that Starscream's ghost (spark) was in there and was
able to posses bodies. He possessed the body of Cyclonus and attempted
to lead Galvatron into a trap, but his plan failed. He left Cyclonus'
body and was gone for a while. He later possessed Scourge's body and used it
to attack Galvatron and the Decepticons. He then took Scourge to Unicron's
head and convinced him to join him. He revived Unicron and made a deal
with him, saying that he would get his old body back if he performed several
tasks. The first was to steal Metroplex's eyes. Starscream and Scourge
were able to do that but one of Metroplex's eyes was damaged. Unicron
then ordered him to steal Trypticon. Starscream possessed Astrotrain,
and then Trypticon and took Trypticon to Unicron. Unicron's final task
was to connect Unicron to Cybertron. Starscream was given his old body
back and betrayed Unicron as soon as he got it. When Galvatron saw Starscream,
he shot him right away and Starscream was sent flying in space, never to be
seen again.
Beast
Wars Profile: Starscream was one of the only G1 characters to
appear on Beast Wars. He possessed the body of Waspinator and joined the
Predacons. The files on Starscream were classified so Megatron II didn't
know about Starscream's treacherous nature. Starscream used Waspinator's
body, but still had his amazing speed and flying skills. He helped the
Predacons take over the Maximal base. He was left in charge with Scorponok
and Blackarachnia, while Megatron II and the other Predacons returned to their
base. Starscream made a deal with the Maximals letting Primal and Dinobot enter
the Axalon to use the medical facilities. Starscream then captured Primal
and told the Maximals to attack the Predacon base if they ever wanted to see
Primal again. Starscream shot Scorponk who was loyal to Megatron II.
Primal and Dinobot had tricked Starscream and cornered him and Blackarachnia.
Starscream escaped leaving BA by herself, but she managed to escape too.
Primal followed Starscream and the two fought. Primal finally pinned Starscream
down. Blackarachnia then shot some energon that was under Starscream blowing
him away. The Predacons then rebuilt Waspinator and Starscream's ghost
(spark) no longer possesed him.
