Dark Nova, aware of the Battlestars' plot to bring Optimus Prime back to life, beats them to the punch by stealing the corpse of their Supreme Commander. Dark Nova resurrects Prime's soulless body as the sinister "False Convoy". False Convoy wreaks havoc among the Autobots, using Optimus Prime's mighty body to his advantage. The Autobots are afraid to inflict damage on False Convoy, as they know that if they destroy his body they will forever lose the chance to bring the real Optimus Prime back to life. However, Sky Garry, along with the might of the Battlestars' base-Transformer, Grandus, manage to defeat False Convoy.
