Just stumbles across this:

He's one of the guys who did the art for DW's MTMTE profiles. He also drew some pages of the War Within vol. 2 preview and the second BotCon "Wreckers" comic.

For some reson, I prefer his fan art over his professional stuff, I just don't know why yet...

Jackpot (http://tfarchive.com/visions/contributor.php?&voc_id=21) is definitely one of my favourite fan artists.

I think it's generally easier to capture the feel of a scene or 'bot when you aren't producing for a specific commercial project. You can afford to experiment with different styles, for starters.

For some reson, I prefer his fan art over his professional stuff, I just don't know why yet... To be honest, so do I (by and large). Changing deadlines had something to do with the drop in quality for some of my profiles. On the other hand, I'm quite proud of a few of them (like Fastlane and Metroplex). But Denyer's on the right track: Fanart gives absolute freedom of time and style, and that can mean a lot.

Anyway, thanks again for the shout-out! It's much appreciated.
