Metroplex looks fantastic, and so does Galvatron. Their price range though...[5200 yen] is a bit...prohibiting.

does Metroplex come with the Minicon or is that for scale comparison??

Seeing as it's molded in similiar colours, I think they go together.

Metroplex - it apppear that he is not the old mold (city robot) - now, let we see it trasformed and colored

Yeah, I was just about to ask if that was leader-1 . . .

Definitely have to get good ol' metroplex. Wondr if he'll be a minicon base. Maybe he'll have interactive features that are unlocked with powerlinx points!

It's either a Construction base juding by the weapon (God I hope its not his actual hand)/ Machine Convoy or anothing ****ing boat/train ...

'Plex looks good. Anyone work out a scale from the photo and the Mini-Con?

I'm guessing that he's probably super Optimus' hieght, And that would very much rock if he transforms into a base!

Everyone's saying he's a Leader/Mega, and since Hydra's old lsiting featured "Metroplex" as a Mega, I'd say that fits nicely.

Now watch as I'm posting this, Nevermore will post it as well.

Anyway, TFW2005 has posted a pic of "Metroplex" in his alternate mode.

No-one ever claimed he would transform into a base aside from fans who speculated "METORPELX OMG MSUT BE NUUU CITYBASE!!!111111111111111111"

He isn't a base, but what the hell is that??
I have never seen that kind of construction vehicle before...
Anyone have some pics of the real thing and what it does in real life?

Is that thing even based on a real thing or just a fictional/futuristic/Cybertronian thing?

I think it looks quite good ( Metroplex), not based on anything in real life but looks like a giant rolling construction yard - possibly used to construct things like bases in the show, more usefull than a base that transforms if your unlucky enough to be inside at the time.

It reminds me of one of those huge construction machines you find in quarries that move 20ft in 3 weeks and scoop up enough stone to build a towerblock and you don't see much of except on TV in the uk on Channel 4 or 5 in some documentary strand called Massive Machines or Big Power presented by some washed up celebrity

Is that thing even based on a real thing or just a fictional/futuristic/Cybertronian thing? Seems his alt-mode is based upon those giant mining machines.

G-Metro's alt-mode even bares a (slight) resemblance to the G1 Metro rolling fort mode.

Here's a link to a small mining machine (Metro seems to be based on a much bigger one, but I couldn't find any pics of those on a short notice):

No doubt, but you have to agree that when a character has the same name as in G1, the same/similar robot mode, one expects it to at least look similar to itīs "original" form.

I think itīs ugly. I canīt even understand what itīs supposed to look like, looks like an amalgamation of several machines to me.

The Alt-mode looks....different.
But sadly I'm gonna pass!
I can see Megatron's new mold being a car...barely.
I can see Prime's new mold being a firetruck again...
I can even stomache another Red Alert.
But Metroplex deserves better then being a strip mining machine!
What's next? Turn Fortress Maximus into an RV?

What is this? A big construction-type base?

No, i don't like this ... hope this is mistrasformation or have a second alt or some feature ....

Another one bits the dust. Thats like a processing plant that Alcoa (A mining company) uses at Dwellingup. The big thing has wheels but it moves like 3 K's and Hour ...
