Aboard Metroplex, Prime and his senior staff are meeting to discuss the future of the war. They have decided to take back the initiative and strike out against the Decepticons, hoping to end their reign of terror once and for all. The Wreckers are working on a plan to take out Metrotitan, while other Autobots go to the Moon and retake the Autobot starship Steelhaven. Meanwhile, Metroplex's bridge crew is spearheading a project to build Guardian drones to protect the humans from the Decepticons.

Getaway raised an optic ridge at Wheelie's entrance, but nodded.

"A single infiltrator would be able to get inside the city better than the whole team, certainly. But what's to stop you from being gunned down on approach?"

The Powermaster glanced back at Overdrive.

"You didn't happen to record any data on enemy communications while you were there, did you? My Nebulan partner is a telecom scientist, so he might be able to up our odds a bit that way."

Wheelie was undeterred by Getaway's logic and began slowly walking around the outside of the bay wall, brushing the plating with his fingertips.

The Minibot loner turned his head slightly to one side, never making optical connection with any of the assembled Wreckers.

"To hide in the void, put me in an asteroid,
repaint me black, for armour piercing sneak attack?"

Wheelie finally looked up, an unsettling smile creeping over his face.

Not to mention the fact that we'd have a hard time hiding it. Unless anybody knows where there's a chop shop that'll handle a citycon, that is....." -looks over at Getaway- "Actually, I was thinking about having Brawn drill us a path there. Our big potential advantage is that if Scorponok is still there, whoever's in charge of him might not be willing to destroy one of their own bases to get us. And if they are, it makes our job that much easier." -looks over at Wheelie- "Metrotitan's in Antarctica. Skyfire listened quietly to the conclusions the others came to, taking mental notes more as orders than as points to be analyzed and critically discussed.

"I will offer my services to provide transit to the worksite," he delivered, partially pointed toward Huffer. "I also possess some expertise with such ships' navigational systems."

Ultra Magnus remained with his arms folded at his end of the table, thinking carefully over various scenarios that could come of these endeavours. Most specifically, his thoughts were occupied with how Metrotitan would react to another intrusion.

"Destroying the city will be difficult, even for the Wreckers," he decided. "That sort of tactic needs concentration, and we can't afford to risk our best team getting pinned down in that sort of environment when Gigatron responds. They need mobility. Hit and run may be more appropriate."

Six-Gun listened in on the plans with am ambivalence hovering between depression and anxiousness. He knew he couldn't leave the city to help them, but he continued to dream that his knowledge of the city's layout could be enough use that they'd ask him along anyway. He tapped his right arm-barrel against his armrest in cognitive dissonance.

Countdown watched the monitors expertly as the ship rocketed west across the American landscape. As the medium-range detectors picked up Autobase on the horizon, he picked up the commlink to call in.

"Autobase, come in. This is Countdown requesting landing clearance at Fortress Maximus. Transmitting authentification. Over."

In the cabin, Jazz looked over those assembled and nodded when Countdown forwarded the message. He strolled back to a seat on the side bench and magnetized himself in.

"Right on, Neos, gonna be landin' soon. Hang onto your hats."

Wheelie grinned uneasily as he picked up his energo knife from the deck, the Minibot was crazy brave, but he had disrespected the chain of command. The survivalist knew there was little love lost between his fellow Autobots and the 'Wild Child of Quintessa', loose cannons weren't usually though of in high regard.

"Painted white in the dead of night, standing out like a shining light....?."

The unusual Minibot showed no fear in the face of enough combined skill and firepower to level worlds and even in is unorthodox rhyme the sarcasm of his words stuck out.

Wheelie winked an optic at the weapons array known as Sixgun and turned to leave the bay. The Minibot's right fist flicking an ancient and forbidden Quintesson insult at the assembled Wreckers as he did so.

Whirl shrugged. "Let him come! If Gigs shows up, we'll take him to school!"

Getaway restrained a sigh at his comrade's unending confidence, then glanced towards the upset-sounding Minibot who was leaving the room.

"You know, we might not have a job for Wheelie here, but I bet he would come in handy for the team we're sending to the Steelhaven."

Shrugging, he continued.

"At any rate, we might not want to destroy Metrotitan, even if we can. The Decepticons may be our enemies now, but there are still the Quintessons to worry about, lest we forget."

Red Alert narrowed his optics, surprised by Skyfire's willingness to volunteer. However, the scientist was better-qualified for the job than anyone else they had.

"Take him," he told Huffer. "You and Crosshairs can use all the help you can get."

He turned to Magnus. "I couldn't agree more. If we're going to press an attack on the Decepticon cities, we'll have to do it in force. If we're not prepared to do that, harrassment and hit-and-fade operations would be a better choice."

Huffer nodded emphatically. "The actual redesign and refurbishment from an engineering standpoint will be simple enough, but the actual repair time could be extensive. Skyfire nodded seriously at Red Alert's decision. He'd put his name in the hat, after all, and he'd take whatever came with that.

Magnus considered carefully how to go about altering the plan; he was satisfied at Roadbuster's suggestion.

"Or sabotage," he added to Red Alert quietly. "Ideal, Roadbuster. The objective is to keep them busy, regain our momentum, and challenge their strongest assets without risking capture. Find a way to do it without becoming entrenched and you'll satisfy all of those."

Six-Gun gave Wheelie a peculiar look, but he was overtaken immediately by excitement (which he hid spectacularly). He knew they'd want his input! He'd be a Wrecker yet.

"Well," he began, leaning back and folding his legs, "when we ran that ship, we had a sonar system that bounced signals through the halls, then cross-referenced the return interference against the database roster. Only ways past that were cloaking, punchin' yourself full of holes, or looking like somebody who's supposed to be there."

He considered a moment.

"Catchin' a Decepticon for a shield could work, or goin' down the walls with a laser rake to make interference. 'Course, they might have set up a new system since they took over. As for the auxillary weapons, we had them hidden under the repair bays on the city flanks. They're probably still there. They weren't centralized, which means they'll be harder to operate, but they're also harder to move."

Red Alert nodded to Magnus, somewhat chagrinned that he hadn't thought of that himself.

"Sabotage would work just as well, yes," he replied just as quietly.

Raising his voice slightly, he looked over at Huffer.

"If it's going to take too long to get the ship in the air, it might be better to scuttle the ship and return to base," he said. "The Decepticons can't fail to notice what you're up to, and even with the rest of us keeping them busy...even a small enemy strike force could cripple your repair efforts."

The security director shrugged slightly.

"That will be a decision the team on-site will have to make, though."

As he spoke, the security officer quietly tapped out a message summoning Crosshairs to the meeting.

Dirge's jet mode soared in the skies above the earth, moving at only a moderately slow pace. His flight systems were protesting actions, but he would be moving too slow on the ground and fearful that the Decepticons he'd escaped might infact still be secretly following him, so he was forced to continue flight to avoid putting himself in an ambush position. He probably shouldn't have performed that takeoff stunt he did during his escape, given the injuries he had that hadn't yet been repaired, but it was too late to take the action back now, and he'd just have to move on.

As Dirge got closer to Autobot Airspace, he began to worry, though. It'd been quite awhile, what if the Autobots had forgotten about him? Would they open fire if he came into range, or wait to pounce on him if he landed? The events of the previous mission still bothered him, about having gotten separated and then the Autobots retreating without him. What if they thought he'd secretly slipped off to rejoin his old forces? But it wasn't my fault! I didn't mean to get lost!

Dirge had successfully anerved himself to the point of slowing down his flight to the least speed he could perform while maintaining flight. Well..if there was anything to work out about the incident, it was probably best to do it before getting in weapons range of any Autobot base...

Searching for the last frequency he could recall the Autobots using commonly, he openned a channel, and then after a moment's hesitation finally spoke. "Dirge to Autobot Base..." He started, then decided to stop there for now. Best not to be too presumptuous and make any kind of request..

"I was separated from the Autobots that went with me on the last mission," Dirge responded to Hubcap over the com. "They left without me, and I was captured. I've only just now gotten a chance to escape..."

Dirge had to pause for a moment, getting a slight wave of dizzines as his flight systems began to act up again. Wouldn't do him any good to stay in the air any longer than he had to, if he could avoid it. "Please..requesting permission to land.. anywhere..."

And they'll also make sure you don't sneak off somewhere you're not supposed to be...just in case you got out of jail for 'good behaviour' instead of escaping.

Switching channels, he put a call into the four patrolling Aerialbots.

"Skydive, I need you to send two of your teammates to escort Dirge in to Metroplex and take him to Medbay for repairs. If he turns out to be hostile, you know what to do."

Dirge was still annerved by Slingshot's demeanor, but with Air Raid's much kinder tones he felt inclined to return the gesture somehow, giving a weak smile to the Aerialbot. He couldn't pull of a real smile, not with as sore as he was, and still uneasy.

"I'll be fine...I think..." Dirge responded. focing himself into motion despite his protesting systems. He was definitely feeling the backlash of that rushed takeoff now, and he could only confidently move at a slow pace, though he tried his best to keep up with the further ahead Slingshot. Albeit, he really didn't care if that one got far ahead of him; Air Raids presence was far more comforting than his.

These are the ones I'll have to make friends with and gain the trust of if I'm ever to fit in here... Dirge considered as he walked along beside Air Raid. But I'll still have to try to appease the more agressive ones...somehow...

Dirge was still also uneasy about how easily he'd gotten away from the Decepticons. That one just letting him go? And he didn't meet any resistance on the way out, aside from having to slip past a couple of the oblivious ones. What if they'd wanted him to escape? What if they were spying on him, that he had a bug or something on him? He could already be getting the Autobots into trouble without realizing it...!

But wait..they were going to the medics. Those ones still scared him, but surely they'd be able to know if there was some kind of spying device on him. Yes, he'd ask them to check him, then if there was they could get rid of it, or if not it'd still show he was trying to be helpful. Maybe that other Aerialbot might even settle down a bit...

"Heck, this sorta work's kinda condusive t' bumps 'n' bruises, y'know what I mean," he ribbed Astra before turning his head to Roadbuster with open arms. "Hey, big guy! Got a couple more comin' down in a sec. What's the plan?"

On cue, Countdown rolled in not far behind Jazz in his lunar rover mode.

Metroplex: Turbolift

Skyfire hummed in consideration of Huffer's quandry.

"In cosmic terms, it is only a short sojourn to the solar system's major asteroid belt. Local asteroids are rich in heavy metals that can be refined into armor-grade alloys, as well as gases that can be compressed for insulative and hydraulic purposes. I have some experience with asteroid mining, but perhaps it would be best to recruit a dedicated expert on the matter."

Skyfire's consideration was cut short as the turbolift door opened, delivering him and his traveling companions to the command center. He looked over the crew with a formal smile.

"Greetings. Would someone assist us in accessing the duty roster?"

"We might be able to salvage some materials from non-essential systems, too. After all, we only have to get her mobile. No one's going to complain if the coffee machines don't work."

It was a rare joke from the Targetmaster, delivered with just a bit of hesitation.

Turning towards the officers remaining in the briefing room, he spoke louder.

"It's an ambitious plan, for sure." He let a smile tug at the corners of his mouth. "I'm not sure what the Wreckers would do with a city of our own, mind you, but I'm sure we'd figure out something."

The Powermaster became a bit more serious. "Realistically, though, I think we could count it as a victory even if our spies fail miserably in the attempt. The witchhunt that would follow would eat up enough manpower that it might just tilt the balance of power in our favour again."

"Very good point , it might not be feasible to sow enough mines to avoid that possibility. We could spray him with water maybe , the cold conditions would freeze it and once the process has started layers of ice would start to build up , that might stop him transforming straight away, if enough built up he would be very top heavy and unstable in Robot mode , if we're lucky it might even temporarily stop him transforming."

Metroplex hummed in agreement with Hubcap's assessment.

Skyfire considered Backstreet's query for some time. When he spoke, it was slow, calculated, and unsure, as though he was looking for Crosshairs' and Huffer's approval to his suggestions.

"I will be able to serve as the ship's pilot once it is operational, but we shall require a bridge crew to facilitate proper functioning. Our defensive complement should be augmented - a gunner to operate the weapons systems would be ideal. Huffer will also require a greater technical presence. A statistician and a technician should suffice. Lastly, we need an asteroid mining specialist."

Skyfire paused to consider the accuracy of his assessment.

"I hope that isn't too much to ask," he grinned politely.

"I say we wait until we have all the details before going anywhere with them," Aero spoke aloud, not bothering to hide his suspicious, and even a bit irritated tone. Stratus had explained the incident he'd be part of quite well, and though Aero couldn't identify which of these wreckers the minicon had been watching, he was still suspicious of all of them. "I was told they were a bit eager to try to evict us out of our own last base until they found out about the unstable foundation the Decepticons had caused. I doubt their methods and opions of us have changed so quickly. The only one of them I'm willing to trust is Roadbuster."

"If you don't trust us," he said calmly, "you shouldn't be here. Going into battle with mechs you don't trust is dangerous. Not just to yourself, but to the entire team."

The Powermaster stood up, sweeping his gaze across all of the Neos who had joined the meeting.

"I don't know many of you. In fact, the only one of you that I've met before is Jazz. I have no solid reasons to trust you, but Roadbuster invited you to join us, and that's good enough for me. He trusts you, and I trust him."

The veteran warrior's optics tracked back to Aero as he spoke.

"But that trust has to flow both ways. Most of the Wreckers that you see here are new to the team, and we haven't seen any action with the unit. But everyone in this room is here because Roadbuster asked us to join. He trusts us, and you trust him. Please trust in his judgement of us, at least for the moment."

Ultra Magnus grinned at Arcee genuinely. He appreciated being in the company of an old friend, for he trusted her to be eternally frank. Moreover, it was good to chat with someone close to him - Prime always had obligations, Hot Rod was still away (and alive, Magnus hoped) on Nebulos, Springer was stationed across the continent last he'd heard, and Kup...

He sighed.

"That's certainly how it feels sometimes," he began as he boarded the turbolift to head to the bridge. "But Metroplex is online, and that's my obligation, to keep the city intact. So far so good this time around." He grinned again. "How have you been, Arcee? It's been some time since I've seen you. By the looks of things the Decepticons haven't given you too much trouble."

"Hey there, Hubcap," he chirped to his associate and glanced at the other. "Hi, Chameleon. You here to help out with the bridge crew?"

While Scamper hopped into the lookout's seat, Metroplex hummed and his interface console came to life.

"The help is useful," the console answered Hubcap in Metroplex' gruff voice. "Try watching all these sensors by yourself."

Scamper laughed fully. "Tell me about it!"

Had the Minibot been talking to a conventional-sized Autobot, he would have finished that comment off with a teasing wink. He thought winking at a computer console might seem a bit odd to his fellow Autobots, though, so he settled for giving the communications terminal a friendly pat.

"Sure I'll take tactical, no worries, just glad to be aboard!"

The illusionist hopped into the sizeable tactical chair and tapped in a few security protocols to bring a heads up display of Metroplex's defence grid with corresponding blips locating several Autobot signatures on the readout and the odd authorised Decepticon one too.

Chameleon sat back in the chair and happily observed the holo displeay, watching the various comings and goings of his comrades, as they went about their business within the myriad corridors and airpsace of the Citybot. He may have been away from Cybertron, but Chameleon was still among his friends.

If the decepticons spot us and attack us, we can return fire but only if they attack in the first time. Any questions? "

The other Aerialbots looked to each other, not totally sure about their feelings, but Skydive replied first.

" We're going to spot Trypticon Slingshot, prudence will be our best resort. Attacking him without any support will mean to our team's totally destruction. Alas, we're not into an attack mission, we're send to into a recon one. "

"So you're getting a feel for the controls okay?"

Ultra Magnus hummed in response to Siren's report, torn between being disappointed that the Decepticons had been able to operate such a flow for an unknown time without being spotted and relieved that they may have a chance to deal a serious blow to the enemy's energy situation.

"That's a long way to run power lines. There must be a weakness in it somewhere. Take Guzzle and whoever you need to investigate and if you can, sabotage the line. But be careful - it may be a trap. Keep me informed."

Magnus turned and nodded to Hubcap.

"I'm still a little rusty when it comes to running tactical, it's a far cry from the old image broadcasts I used to cut and edit back home. Should I be logging all arrivals and departures and asking them for clearance codes?"

The illusionist rotated his chair back to his terminal as five signatures began to leave Metroplex's airspace as the Aerialbots accelerated towards their mission.

"Should I have cleared the flyboys for instance?"

"It's nothing personal you see, it's just the way I have to be. When I was younger I could never turn my back, otherwise I'd be another Sharkticon snack."

The misfit looked over his larger comrades as they filtered into the briefing room and made small talk about their proposed mission.

"To be wary is a force of habit it seems, it's just I still have one too many bad dreams...."

Wheelie's voice tailed off and for a nano second the Minibot's guard dropped, a softening of his expression hinting at a possible deeper melancholy within, but in a flicker his brash facade returned and he nodded to the others.

"...but it doesn't matter, we're all soldiers now. We have to finsh this war maybe this mission's how."

"All right, let's hear your report, Camshaft. Broadside - I'll be with you in just a moment."

Scamper shrugged at Chameleon, returning to his comfy slouch and turning his face again toward the monitors in front of him.

"We try to keep everything pretty formal since the last time we had to redecorate the place - you know, checking everybody who comes within the perimeter of Autobase, keeping tabs on who's going where, that sort of thing - but we've been pretty lax lately since the 'Cons haven't been bugging us much."

Skyfire looked over the assembled and noted that most were present. He turned to Crosshairs with a slightly nervous glance, then gathered his resolve that he would handle it. Yes, he would. He fumbled with the table controls to begin recording in case their missing numbers showed up later.

"Thank you for coming," he began, clearing his vocoder. "We have been charged with the recovery of an important derelict Autobot vessel, the Steelhaven. The ship's last known coordinates were somewhere in orbit of Earth's moon. Our purpose is to locate the ship, return it to functionality, and reintegrate it into the fleet.

"I will fly us to the destination. Once we are there, our defensive contingent - Crosshairs, Outback, and Wheelie - will need to secure the ship's safety from Decepticon traps. The technical team - Huffer, Bumper, Hoist, and myself - will then board and begin a diagnosis of the state of repair. If necessary, I will lead a mining expedition to the nearby asteroid belt to recover alloys for use in reconstruction.

"We will then proceed with repairs to make the craft flyable. Backstreet, Fizzle, and I will serve as the bridge crew to guide her back to Autobase. Of course, should the Decepticons interfere, we will be required to defend the ship as our lives."

Skyfire paused and looked around. He was surprised that had all come out so fluidly... He thought of passing the mike to Huffer for his technical presentation, but he decided that it could wait until they were airborne.

"He didn't leave under the best of terms, either, the way I hear it..."

In fact, the Minibot had heard some particularly nasty things about a few of the other Wreckers as well, but he didn't see any reason to go into potentially damaging detail about it. Not unless he could turn a profit somehow, anyway.

Crosshairs listened along with Skyfire's presentation, then gave his teammate a slight nod of approval.

You did good.

The weapons officer felt a bit inadequate at the moment, though. After all, he was supposed to be their guide...he should have something to say. After dredging the back of his mind for a moment, he spoke up.

"I've just got one thing to add," he said. "That ship is a bit of...well, to be honest, it's a giant flying maze. The decks are all curved to fit the hull, there are random bulkheads in the middle of the hallways, and big chunks of the ship are probably going to be locked down entirely...we didn't leave her entirely unsecured when we abandoned her, after all. I've got command codes that should recind the lockdown procedure, but you're still going to have a Pit of a time finding your way around. So watch where you're going, keep in contact with your teammates, and don't be too proud to ask for directions if you get lost."

The Targetmaster smiled, although the expression felt a little forced to him.

"Oh, and try not to blast any holes in the hull if we do run into any Decepticon interference. Our techs are going to have enough to worry about without adding explosive decompression to the list."

Artfire looked ascance at his new commander. "Oh, the joys of security duty..."

Red cracked a rare (albeit somewhat subdued) smile at that. "At least we probably won't get shot at," he said in return. "That's always a plus."

Flipping on his comlink, the officer opened a city-wide channel.

"This is Security Director Red Alert to any unoccupied Autobots. Report to the main entry ramp immediately for cargo-handling duty. Red Alert out."

The director imagined that that order would provoke a groan or two from the city's troops. That thought brought on another small smile.

Turning to Jazz, he nodded.

"It could work. Rev isn't much in a fight, but if we could find a Micromaster-sized Decepticon symbol to slap onto him he could probably get close to our target without much fuss. Same goes for your shell, assuming it can shrink down that small."

Turning to Backstreet, the Targetmaster couldn't help but think that the Triggerbot had a point.

"If they attack, we fight back. If they blow up the ship...well, then I suppose it's a good thing that we've got our top survivalist with us, because we'll need him."

The chunky blue Autobot shrugged.

"I won't lie to you and say that this is going to be a safe mission. If we're very lucky, we'll be able to pull it off without the Decepticons getting word of what we're up to. But once we get there, we'll have to be prepared to fight off anything they can throw at us. He's trying his best, but he's obviously not cut out for this sort of job. The Targetmaster looked down at his hands. And Huffer only cares about the technical grunt work that's got to be done. If things get hot out there, we could be in trouble.

The armoury officer felt a hollow feeling in the core of his combustion chamber as he realized that it would probably fall on him to keep things together if the Decepticons made trouble.

But can I do any better than they can?

Crosshairs feared that he knew the answer to that, but he didn't have time to dwell on it. In the back of his mind, he realized that Skyfire had called the meeting to a close.

"I'll head down to storage and see if I can dig up anything especially useful," he told his aerial partner-in-crime.

Huffer, Bumper, and Outback all stood up at approximately the same time, but with very different things on their minds. Huffer was preoccupied by the technical aspects of their problem. He could handle himself in a scrap, but he never really planned for catastrophe until it smacked him in the face. Bumper knew the danger they were in, and was concerned about it. Things could get back, quickly, up there. Outback was really just dreading getting on a dreaded shuttle again, even if it was Skyfire.

Dirge was made a tad nervous by the sudden presence of so many Autobots focused on him, especially Devcon and Slammer who seemed to be on the agressive side. He was growing a bit weary of continually repeating that bit of info that he knew about the mission, but he wasn't about to do anything to possibly anger a high ranking bot like Ultra Magnus.

With the relatively cold and unfriendly surroundings around him, Dirge did his best to keep calm, pretending as though Air Raid was still in the room and that he was adressing him, not the other Autobots.

"I'm not really sure what happened," Dirge started. "The other Autobots on the mission with me and I got separated, and I can only asume they left without me. I think I was knocked offline for awhile, then when I came back online again, I tried to escape, but then got caught.."

From there, Dirge's own confusion of ther the incident began to come out in his voice again. "They held me for awhile, but then one of them just let me go, and I wasn't persued hardly at all on the way out. I thought they might have bugged me for spying or something, but the medic said there was nothing wrong with me," Dirge finished, indicating Fixit.

Sixswitch caught sight of Red Alert and Wheeljack at the Metroplex entryway and frowned.

"Oh great, Captain Charisma himself," he thought, his sarcastic nature showing a spark of life.

"Hey," he shouted in a non-traditional greeting.
"I need access to the city and the medical facilities."

He kept his thoughts to himself, seeing as Red Alert in particular probably wouldn't be best pleased to see him, and considering he was feeling decidedly confused about his recent activities, now wouldn't be the best time to answer any questions either.

Backstreet smiled nervously to Fizzle.

" Sure. When I was asigned into Metroplex command crew, I was a rookie in that field. I need more expierence", he added with a low tone of voice " so if I promote into bridge opeartions I've the chance to help seriously the Autobot cause, without performing a warrior role. When Skyfire arrived with this mission, I feel it was an excellent ( and risky) opportunity."

The triggerbot sighed.

" As a lookout I was able to help without battling, but in the battlefield you always are in risk of engaging...", the triggerbot lowered even more his tone of voice ", but I'm not a coward, Fizzle."

Backstreet exit the room.

" I need a recharge before leaving " he said with a jovial tone, " and I think I'll go to the armoury too. My shoulder cannons could be a little to bulky for the Steelhaven's corridors. A laser gun could be a better option. Do you join me? " he asked to Fizzle.

Red Alert met Sixswitch with a moderately baleful glare (which, considering how he'd greeted the last two returning Wreckers, could only be seen as progress).

"I was wondering," he said, "when you would show up."

The security director took a few steps towards the rogue sixchanger, arms crossed.

"You can use our medical facilities on the condition that you stay with us after you are repaired. If you try to leave before being debriefed by a senior officer, you will be locked up in the brig."

Or shot. Whichever's easier.

His optics flicked suspiciously over the sixchanger's frame.

"But first, tell me...where is Springer? I would very much like to talk to him, if only to find out what he's done to chase away all of his followers."

"As for Springer? Wish I knew. I only just woke up in the mount..."

He paused at Broadside wandered over. The triple changer was as big as he was - a rare feat amongst the Autobots.

"I only just woke up in the mountains," he continued. "With no clue how I got there. I seem fine, but I seemed to have crashed - no idea why. That's why I want to use the medbay - to get someone to run a check on my memory core."

"I'm on the way there too: got to find or rig some Space survival gear, and get a gun myself!"
Fizzle paused, looking at the triggerbots shouldercannons.
"Take a laser gun if you wish: the recoil would be minimal in space. But I advise you keep the cannons. they are mounted in such a position that should you find yourself stranded you could fall back on them for propulsion."

Slammer kept his barrel quietly and unerringly fixated on Dirge. He would continue to fail to realize how unnerving his gaze could be, but even had he known, he may not have cared. He had a hard time trusting Decepticons after what they'd done to him.

Ultra Magnus nodded along slowly with Dirge's testimony, his arms folding over his chest while he listened.

"Mm," he began. "I would think you'd have a harder time getting lost in your own former ship, but I suppose you're forgiven since no harm was done. You say one of the Decepticons released you? Which? Was he under orders?"

Magnus glanced at Fixit for confirmation of Dirge's claim of cleanliness.

"The Nemisis wasn't in the best of condition when we first got there, many things weren't where they were supposed to be," Dirge replied calmly to Ultra Magnus's comment of his having gotten separated.

"I believe it was Bugly who let me out," Dirge said, taking a moment to try to remember all the details of what occured. "I'm not sure if he was under orders. There was another Con present at the time, and he made him clear out, then he destroyed the survelence equipment," Dirge explained. "But I guess that could have been an act..."

All of a sudden, Red Alert wasn't quite sure where to look first. With a varied group of Autobots vying for his attention, he felt the start of a headache brewing in the back of his head.

First, he turned to Sixswitch. The hexchanger's excuse of 'amnesia', obviously, had raised his suspicion level a couple notches. "I see. Hopefully, everything is well with you."

He addressed Broadside next. "Yes, by all means, escort him. We wouldn't want him to collapse on his way, after all..."

Finally, he gave the Junkion a skewed glance. "You must have me confused with someone else. I'm not-" The security officer's optics widened slightly as he caught on. "Oh, right. Television slang."

Across the room, the door whisked open, and Skyfire strode through as unassumingly as he could, paying the inquisition only a see-no-evil glance before filing off into the corridor of CR chambers. He tapped some commands into the console on a solitary unoccupied unit and climbed in to recharge.
