I can't wait for Excellion. I'll prolly get two and a second Hot Shot and switch out the "wings" on the spares, so that I have an updated Hot Rod.

Thundercracker just breaks my heart. Really nice jet mode, but that right arm is an abomination. If he had a sensible arm (it doesn't even have to be a hand, either. Snarl has a really nice robot mode, and the wolf's head as a hand is a great touch), he'd be a halfway decent toy. Skywarp's colors aren't as good, but he'd make a decent generic soldier, nonetheless, if he only had an arm. That big cannon just looks awkward.

If Thundercracker's arm bothers you that much, maybe you're going to like the LoC version?

I was just about to say that.

Are Thundercracker's rear wings curved intentionally or is it the soft plastic ruining tghe look of a TF again?

Excellion looks great but i think i'm going to get the LoC version of Skywarp. And Batmanners I think that his wings were always curved like that.

Perhaps. It depends on who carries it (I've only been able to find it online, and I'd want it to be through a retailer I've used, as well as one that has other things I'm looking to buy in order to offset the cost of shipping a bit), and how removeable the gun is. All in all, it looks a lot less awkward on the loc figure.

Is loc Skywarp available anywhere else besides ebay?

Intentional damage to make the test shot less "attractive" for buyers. Same happened with Thundercracker test shots.

I like the gun arm. It makes him less symmetrical and more interesting in my book.

The idea for the gun arm isn't that bad.
The execution, however, is a different story.

Thundercracker was my first purchase from this line (though in his Galaxy Force incarnation) and i gotta say I love the cannon arm. At first I thought it was going to be a bit cumbersome but I like it...just my opinion. And that mould really doesnt work in purple! Ouch! But thats my 2 pence!

That purple's lurid, but I don't dislike either mold.
