View Full Version : Stupid question about what we're allowed to post?

Are we allowed to discuss or bring up subjects involving politics &|or religion? I know this may be or is probably a stupid question, but I have to ask. A while back I was in a different forum ( non-TF, non-SF altogether) & posted a topic which the mods there thought was invoking politics &|or religion. It was a topic about the dreaded bird flu. Anyway, I saw it as a scientific issue, not 1 of religion or politics,so there reaction irked me alot. They didnt' ban me,but gave me an e-mailed warning & shut down my topic.

Sorry to go off on that cosine, I mean tangent, about the specifics of what transpired, but I had to,to provide an example of my point regarding my question/concern on this here TF website & it's boards re:what's appropriate or inappropriate. So in closing, I just want to know what we're allowed to discuss or post &|or not post/discuss.

Thank you.

General Discussions is your friend. What's on your mind?

Pretty much anything goes except bigotry and porn, although threads about Desolation Jones fit in the Comics forum...

We've so had topics about t3h pr0nz0r. And surely the continuing non-bannination of CloudStrifer means we tacitly support bigotry?

man i love this website all the forums are entertaining and most of the time are amusing to read. this really is just a fun discussion place
and it doesn't hurt there's some info on transformers either

one question: will disagreeing with people who think the g1 toys (toys not the actual characters cause i love THEM) are better than post ball-joint TFers annoy anyone too much

I sincerely doubt that would annoy anyone. Pretty much the only way to annoy other posters in a discussion (short of bigotry or trolling) is by failing to defend your side. Expressing an opinion is fine, but most every regular poster is going to expect you to back it up reasonably well.
