Ultramantium?! Weird! That said, they've really done Grimlock justice with that Bio.

Mirage's bio sounds like a bizarre cross between the original Mirage (invisibilty) Jazz (sabotage etc) and Hound (creating illusions). That said he's one of the one's I want to get hold of the most along with Prime!

Looking good - like the bios. They capture an interesting amalgamation of the various G1 incarnations!

I do think, however, that Hasbro seriously need to consider employing someone who can pose their toys a tad better...

:p

It would be cool if they made all the dinobots.

I would buy them all.

Mirage looks quite tempting here, moreso than a lot of the other photos of him.

Grimmers is a maybe, depending on price... Mirage isn't a patch on the RM version, though. What the Hell is that alt mode meant to be?

A "realistic-enough-but-not-too-realistic-please-don't-sue" F1 racer?

Surely a generic shape would be fine, though? Hell, seeing as F1 cars have looked exactly the same since about 1998, lift the shape for a Prost or something. the answer isn't a bloody dune buggy. I hate dune buggies. Except BuggyMan. And frankly Mirage doesn't have his style.

Show me a dune buggy that looks like Classics Mirage.

It's a hell of a lot closer to a that than to anything else. Hell, if I knew much about dune buggies, I could probably get closer. It's been streamlined, but it still looks more like something out of Carmageddon than anything, well, good. The biggest problem is they've genuinely gone for an F1/Indycar design, and ballsed it up at the 11th hour, having probably twigged the proportions just aren't there, especially the crazy, sub-Eifelland rear fairing.

Show me a proper single-seat* open-wheel racing car with a cockpit.

Back from my BMT sabatical for 7 weeks. I like what I see with Grimmy and Mirage, the paint apps do them justice as do the molds. I recently bought a Titanium Jetfire/Skyfire and I was thoroughly impressed with the detail and now that I see these beauties, I can't wait for Classics to hit shelves :D! Horray for Hasbro (for once).
