VB 3.5.x is great and has less security holes.

and has less security holes. Bull**** IMO. Observing the speed and frequency with which updates are being released for 3.x.x that include security fixes, and the details of those releases, its increasingly bloated codebase has introduced more holes, not fewer.

VB2 is nearing the end of its updates and release cycle, but for now is a more secure option and still maintained.

That aside, upgrading will happen at some point when days gain more hours since there are a few features we'd welcome. (Along with stuff we won't, such as the waste of vertical space in the default templates, loss of features such as friend lists being integrated into the control panel layout, etc.)
