No, I'm not entirely sure why either, though it might just be that case-fresh vintage Japanese robot toys are like crack to me, at least when they're that cheap. This one is called The One They Made Into Chop-Shop... I had a cream-crackered Chop-Shop a little while ago and he was alright, actually. Look at the box, though... Toy pr0n. Mmm.

Why can't I find boxes of stuff like that where I work, rather than just expired multipacks of Walkers French Fries?

I... actually really like that. Nice find.

I remember trying to get them, but they used to be expensive, and I used to be poor. Really cool find, Cliff.

It looks like the seller has the whole caseful going up... That's a bit daft. I'd sell one every three months... Still, not complaining. IIRC Beet-Gadol is actually quite close to Chop-Shop with gret instead of orange. I always had a bit of a softspot for the Deluxe Insecticons, possibly just because they were so weird.

Chop Shop is my favorite.

Stag beetles for the win.

Arrived today... The effect of getting something like this absolutely brand new, like I'd just picked it up in a shop, is marvellous. Really is a remarkable and slightly weird feeling, especially as it looks and feels (styro insert! No twist-ties!) so early 1980s. Really is an uncut pile of Nicuaraguan toy coke.

Comes with approximately 9 billion stickers. I almost broke the arms off before remembering they weren't meant to bend that way too.
