Ho, ho, ho.

Now, unlike some of you fine people I have absolutely zero creative skills, so when I say make I don't mean "painstakingly create beautifully mounted and personal Transformers related seasonal greetings".

No, I mean taking images of the various UK related Christmas covers (such as THIS (http://tfarchive.com/comics/gallery.php?g2_itemId=1267) one) and feeding them into a site that lets you create your own cards (such as THIS (http://uk.moo.com/products/greeting-cards.html?gclid=CLH0nr-niboCFfHKtAodDhgAsw) one).

Has anyone here used places like this before? Are they much cop? And is the copyright infringing nature of the images likely to slip under the radar? It's not as if I'm going to do many, I have very few friends.

Don't imagine the copyright is any real problem since they're small, individualized runs. Aside from that, they're easy to make in Word or the like. Just insert a picture that takes half the page and rotate it on its side, add text, and print.

You probably need a printer for that though, right?

True. Maybe the failsafe plan needs to be construction paper and macaroni?

Well. I have just created my own slightly drunken Transformers based Christmas cards.

There are a couple of designs based on interior art I'm not sure about, but I think the covers will turn out OK, and I've ordered enough to last all of my friends for about three Christmases.

I ordered 10.

And they came today! I is very pleased with them.

The one with interior art was a bit of an experiment, and I think it turned out nice as well. Go me and my mad skills.
