Has the wave with Goldbug/Waspinator/Skids/Dreadwing come out in the UK or was it skipped over?

I know that they plan on brining the wave with Crosscut in, just curious if Skids made it over here or not.

If it's any consolation (which it probably isn't), I've not seen that wave here in the US either. A friend of mine picked up Skids, but I think that was the only box that got to the entire state of South Dakota.

I haven't seen anything past the Combaticon Wreckers repaints, so no. :(

EDIT: durr, didn't see the UK bit. My statement's kinda irrelevant now,no?

No worries, just testing the waters. Meh.

For some reason, maketoys trash talk "swerve" has really, REALLY made me anxious about IDW esque figures, even though I'm almost all exclusively an MP type of guy.

Here in the US, I've seen a partial wave at TRU, and a couple of figures leftover at a Walmart, once. The Generations line has had massive distribution problems since late November around here. They've got the shelf space reserved for them and tagged "Gen Deluxe," but the pegs just sit empty for weeks on end.

Or get filled up with Beyblade stuff, for some reason. I've seen three stores where Beyblade colonized the TF pegs. I get excited because I see brand new packaging from down the aisle, then realize it's just poor stocking. Then I'm sad.

Meh. So it's neither out here, nor the 2 people I usually go to for this sort of stuff have seen it.

Yep, this is what the shelves here have looked like for the past... 12 weeks now? They have restocked the Beast Hunters deluxe figures since then, though.

Still, you can never have too many Blitzwing's.

My local TRU just has swathes of BH stuff. Generations wise, just the FoC stuff (Deluxe Air Raid, Sideswipe, Ultra Magnus and Kickback ...if you're very lucky) including a half bay full of FoC Soundwave and Grimlocks (now reduced to 14.99 and still no one's biting). Then there's the regular Generations line with Trailbreaker, Megatron et al and the new Legends Optimus and Bumblebee with their Targetmaster partners. And far too many Data Disk sets.

The Prime stuff looks silly on the shelves. There's still a lot of stuff from Waves 1 & 2 sat next to the weird lumpy retools of the BH line. So you can buy the BH versions of say, Magnus and 'bee at full RRP...or pick up their earlier versions for 5 less apiece.

I can't see this changing overmuch over the next few months. Its taken about six months since the US got them for the Trailbreaker waves to show up over here (sans pack in comics, natch). I still feel that the sheer volume of product that ships all at once in this American waves format is unhelpful to retailers. There's just too much of it for our smaller territories like ours and it just ends up shelf warming for months or years on end.

Interesting as well that Supermarkets have largely trimmed action figures from their toy offering in favour of Lego-like construction versions of whatever the hot franchise is. Lego's licensed Batman and Hobbit things have effectively displaced the action figure lines that you'd perhaps expect to see for those franchises. TRU and Toymaster are the only places (aside from specialist retailers) where you can pick up something that isn't a Lego set.
