Everyone knows Song A is THE Tetris theme.

Hound thinks it's... song C, I think? It's the one based on a classical music piece, right?

And then there's B.... I like B. But A is better.

Dum, dumdumdum dumdumdum, dumdumdum dumdumdum, dum dum dum DUM DUM DUM.

I meant to post this on his birthday but I'm a busy lady. I was doing busy things. Things that busy ladies do.

Song A! Dum dumdumdum dumdumdum, dumdumdum dumdumdum, dum dum dum DUM DUM DUM

Ha! Finally a computer game discussion I can get invloved with :P Its 1989! And the hot new craze at school is Nintendo's Game Boy with TETRIS later to have its theme tune turned into a ghastly sub rave titfer:

even Mario couldn't escape shite dance music...

We just watched all of these. The Sonic one is alright, the Mario one is not... the Tetris one provoked a reaction of "Um... um, holy shit" out of me. And also gave me Halloween costume visions. And probably nightmares.

Now I feel bad for foisting that on you and making you loose 15 minutes of your life.

The early '90s was awash with allsorts of terrible dance versions of things from off of popular culture. It's the Prodigy's fault. They started it all with 'Charly' which lead Urban Hype's 'Trip to Trumpton' to Smart E's 'Sesame's Treat' (see what they did there?) culminating in that terrible vidoe game related arse.

You Tube the above at your own risk. I shall not be held responsible!

Sure Song A is the default one and the one most people know. Song B is my favorite!

I think I always preferred Song B, but Song A is definitely THE "Tetris" song

I forgot how awful the Mario Song was from the early 90s (also making me feel really old to boot) and had never heard that Sonic remix until now.

I feel like I've died a little inside.

I have no clue what this thread is about, other than Hound being or doing something again? You would think he would learned his lesson by now: never argue with Sades.

And this why I happily remain a bachelor no wife to post silly things about me online. :D

Hound should be tarred and feathered! Just use treacle instead of tar though because tar is hot and dangerous.

Hound is wrong! He should be spanked and sent to my room.

Yeah, that's about right.

Believe me, he gives as good as he gets!

Now if you'll excuse me, the toddler is running around trying to put a little pink sock on her chin.

We had a serious, day-long (cause he worked that day) argument about where the toenail clippers were and who lost them once. I almost went home to my parents!

I live with my mother. Being married to Sades has to be better than that.

Ah, this struck a nerve.

Already this evening, I've tried to help out with a flyer design for my girlfriend and am totally regretting it already... :swirly:

I was being sincere. I want to get married and debate Tetris music!

Apparently Song A/Type A is a Russian folk tune called Korobeiniki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korobeiniki). And "Doctor Spin" is actually a pseudonym for Andrew Lloyd Webber/Nigel Wright. Keeerayzay.

Hound is watching DS9 at bedtime. Putting me through months of TNG at bedtime was bad enough, this is grounds for divorce!

Oh, apparently his crazy brain associates Tetris with song B. Whatever!

At least he's watching the better series this time...

But he's watching it whilst dressed as Captain Janeway.

Kidding aside, I'm actually interested in watching it. When I was a kid I didn't give it a fair shake because it "wasn't TNG".

Avery Brooks was more wooden in the first episode than Jonathan Frakes ever was, though. Yiiikes.

I don't remember him being that stiff, but he does get better as the series progresses.
Just remember that like pretty much every Trek series, the first season isn't the greatest. I'd say it picks up somewhere in the second season and gets much better further on.

I did http://emoticons4u.com/evil/105.gif

It's not my first time watching DS9, I think I watched a couple of seasons (not every episode) off and on. I just didn't watch it with as much enthusiasm as I did TNG. As other things began to take up my time and I'd stopped paying attention to Star Trek completely I remember Worf being on, and bald Sisko but I'd only seen about ten eps of that business, maybe. It's the first time I've really paid attention to the acting and I wasn't overly impressed, but I know that first eps of anything are usually a little bit awkward. Still wooden. :p
