Just a random question, does anyone know what Optimus Prie looked like in his vehicle mode before being turned into a semi on earth? In More than Meets the Eye, I beleive that some of the seekers, Ratchet, and Bumblebee are showen in their Cybertron forms. The Ark crashed, and the onboard computer modified people into Earth vehicles, if I understand the story correctly. So, does anyone know where I can see a picture of Prime before he was modified?

Yes, 1 T. I know it's wrong, but that's just how my drunken ancestors did it, alright?

In the first issue of the comic, there's an interesting picture...check it out.

If memory surves me correct, I think he was a pickup truck type vehicle. I think we see it is one of the flash back episodes. Can someone confirm this?

I believe Prime never transformed in the cartoon before being reformatted by the Ark. I'm also fairly certain Orion Pax remained in robot mode as long as we saw him. However, there were two variations of Cybertron Prime I can recall from the comic series. The first was in The Transformers (US/UK issue #1), some sort of armed go-cart it seems. The other in The Flames of Boltax (US issue #48, UK issue #196 I think) was just a futuristic semi with a big ol' Autobot symbol on the front of the trailer.

I am pretty sure that he did transform in the first episode, before the shuttle launch.

Futuristic like truck. Pretty cool.

I hope Brend, or one of the other guys can clear this issue up.

Nope never happened. We see Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Jazz, Seekers, Soundwave, and Lazerbeak all in their Seibertronian modes before being reformatted by the ark

He was a kinda futuristic buggy-tank in the first ish of the comic, kinda Roller on steroids... incidentally, the same character design was used on Brit annual bit-part Bot Fusion in "...And There Shall Come a Leader".. sample quote:

BLUESTREAK: But what about the Decepticons?
FUSION: Bugger, forgot about them
*FA_BA_DA_DOOM*
BLUESTREAK: Bobby! Noooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm really hoping no-one has a copy of the '84 annual to hand to contradict me here...

Please visit my site, The Transformers Database (http://www.tfdatabase.cjb.net) and visit the totally alive, kicking and far-out Message Board (http://tfdatabase.topcities.com/message.htm)!
"Another day out with the boys - just me, Chaos and Mayhem - I love this job!"
"I'm Godzilla, you're Tokyo!"
"You haven't been where I have at all, so who are you to judge?"
"What am I, an idiot magnet?"
"Just remember kid, I'm not teachin' you this so you can go out an' kill people - I'm teaching you this to keep ya alive."
Walk a mile in my shoes, then criticise the way I am.

Going by the first issue of the US comic, he was some sort of tank, with his gun on top as the barrel of the cannon. His color scheme was the same, but to me he looked like a red cardboard box on wheels and a gun on top.
