Agreed. The monsters felt horribly tacked on and I think Who has always struggled with having to have something fantastical in it, as if it feels the need to justify itself or maybe with the thought...

Studio Series Ratchet
Good, solid figure. Not massively impressive, if I'm honest but he's fun enough. He feels quite loose after just a few goes though, which is a bit poor. Transformation is quick...

Aye, it was a bit Quantum Leap which used to do this kind of thing really well, but a good, solid thoughtful episode.

Deacon Blue 'Fellow Hoodlums' (1991)
I can still remember the TV ads for this, as much as the album - now at Andy's Records and Our Price (who they?). Funny band, Deacon Blue. Hit the ground running...

The Cure 'Japanese Whispers' (1983)
Grab bag of 'something to put out in 1983' whilst the band underwent some line up changes. Has 'Love Cats' on, so there's that. Decent, but inessential.

Talk...

Just got through 'Infiltration' and 'The War To End All Wars' and my, here's two ends of the Furman quality spectrum. Infiltration remains a good, solid read and feels remarkably fresh. The human...

Studio Series Lockdown
The sculpting and detailing on this guy is fantastic. Nice paint apps thoughtfully applied which pick out the right details. Love his face - a cross between indifference and...

Nice solid opener, and I'm glad it was just 'the Doctor's a woman now' and not too much faffing or jokes around that. Cast were all likeable, but being from the north, I did feel like everyone...

Watched I, Tonya last night which I really enjoyed (girlfriend said it was boring), Margot Robbie was excellent, but it's Allison Janney as her mum who stole the show for me. The bumbling 'friends'...

Studio Series Grimlock
I've no major love for the movie Dinobots, the spiky aesthetic doesn't really do it for me - they look like some '90s EXTREME toyline, only without the neon. But this figure...

It's that G.I. Joe and the decision to split the comic into two separate story strands (which I like) which happens in #2 -3 and the use of filler artists in #2 that make those first few issues feel...
