I wouldn't describe 7 and 8 as completely naff... there were redeeming moments...

It's a bit like Beast Machines - it's okay if you seperate it from what's gone before, but once you try an take it as part of the whole... *shudders*

I also try and be generous enough to think that the change may have had something to do with Rob Grant leaving... but I'm unconvinced... (ye can bet Rob would stuck with the Ace ending to series 8!)
