i just a mag sayin it was gonna be 16" (maybe 18 but im pretty sure its 16) and 12" in planet mode...the reason its not huge is cuz (and this is quoted from them) it would be too big to fit onto shelves . its supposed to come out in august...thats all i have to say on this matter

The thing I'm worried about are price and availability. With the $60 pricetag and the incredible demand for this...I'm thinking it would be best to preorder ASAP to avoid paying $100+ on ebay in a few months...and then - not to piss on anyone's parade or anything, but I'd still worry about Unicron being cancelled in the US due to lack of interest by the target demographic for a $60 toy in a toyline that's coming close to a close.

You make a good point. It would be just like hasbro to piss on the fans like that.

Ah, but that was the original rationale for Brave Max coming to the states...

I seriously doubt he'd be cancelled in the US even with the high price tag. Unicron will also be part of the base story for the TF Universe line so the fact Armada will be ending might not be a big factor.

You don't know Hasbro very well, do you? They're a real piece of sh*t when it comes to pleasing the fans. They lie about things being released (or speak about things before they're 100% sure of it. either way, it's just as bad).

What, once they've cancelled a Max reissue because of a [much higher] potentia price tag, safety reasons and stocking oroblems? Jeez Paladain, drop it already...

I'm sorry, but they should have looked into those things before they opened their mouth.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the fact that they never actually told anyone that they were cancelling. They said that there was going to be a delay, and then someone found out later that they had cancelled it.

What exactly is this TF Universe and what storyline will it have and what figures will it have? I'd heard that it was supposed to cover all generations of tf's, so I wonder if that would mean reissues as part of the regular line...
