That presupposes a lack of basic continuity errors which the first mini-series simply did not have (look at Wheeljack's "heroic" last stand and tell me it wasn't meaningless and hurriedly tacked-on)... by 'action' I don't simply mean one fight after another... a simple plot, if well-implemented, would count as action-based, though fail to engage with the reader or offer any story depth. Action would also refer to pace, which was reasonable at the end of DWG1 (very fast, in fact, missing out whole areas of linear time...) yet took the first four issues to get out of neutral... art alone isn't going to sell this thing to me, but a little competence might...

I just found the idea of a new "definitive" continuity hilarious - the idea that Dreamwave are going to have people writing the Marvel, Sunbow & Mainframe stuff off as some second-rate spin-off, and take DW continuity as The Ultimate. I just find that naive and over-reaching in the extreme.

I agree with Quickie on this. A new continuity fine I can accept that (Hey that is what Hasbro/Takara haven been preaching since Beast Wars debuted) but don't sit here and tell me that this will be "The Definitive Conitnuity" for the Transformers.
To me a "definitive continuity" for the Transformers are 19 (going on 20) years too late and besides:
I'll chose my own defininitive conitinuity for the Transformers thank you very much!

In the picture at the top of the page, we see Megatron all busted up and floating through space. Three guesses who he runs into...

Does Dreamwave even realize what is required for a definitive continuity? Look at DC Comics's series Crisis on Infinite Earths and you will get some idea. Hm, that gives me an idea. A Transformers: Crisis on Infinite Cybertrons series. Tie everything together that can be, find a way to include the good stuff from everything, and ignore the rest, all while causing the deaths of an awful lot of TF's and destroying some planets in the process.

So, have they put up scans of the preview with words, seeing as they didn't publish it separately from that stupid TPB that I refused to pick up because I all ready had everything else in it?

I don't have too much to say since I can't remember the G1 story and continuity.

But oh! I'd love to see these comics! The samples looks cool!!!

I'm interested in the plot of this new comic, maybe if I read it i wouldn't really understand the whole storyline (I think I will.. it might be simple... I don't know)

However I don't thnk I'll have the chance to get them... Dreamwave's comics are not sold here

I only have Armada Issue #3... I won it in a Karaoke contest in november

Ahh I want the comics!!!

And I am willing to e-mail others if one wants. They're not where I live also, so I know how it is. PM me if something.
