Cool New Alternators Meister prototype/test shot gallery...

http://community.webshots.com/album/153917006pKdVBs

Forget the grey/black/blue proto with solid windows. This one comes in all white, with translucent windows.
And with an upside down, purple Autobot symbol, yes.
Still not a real "test shot" as we know it (nearly final colors, only minor details like miscolored faction symbols giving it away), though...

Courtesy of charle5!

EDIT: Older news for Meister:

Mazda BT/Alternator figure
And the real name of the RX-8 is....
Prototype Pictures of Meister Alternator/Update May 4th: New pics!
Meister Proto Gallery
Alt Meister, Tracks and Dead End protos at eBay w/ new pics
Upcoming Takara releases UPDATE 05/22/04: BT "New" Smokescreen, Meister preorder @HLJ
BT/Alt Meister and remolded Smokescreen pics/UPDATE: Multiple color variants?
BT Meister & Dead End test shots at eBay (plus some pics for Tracks)

Or you could just check my own site's coverage on him instead...

Meister was the name used for Jazz in Japan, so it is intended to be the same character.

Oh dear... If I got a penny for every time I answer this, I'd already be a millionaire...

Only three different characters so far, two of which use the same basic mold, just like they did in G1, and the third one had a similar transformation in G1 as well. Where's the problem?

Aha. And Smokescreen's head looks very similar to G1 Smokescreen's head, Lambor looks a lot like G1 Sideswipe, Streak like G1 Bluestreak... What exactly is it you want to tell us?

Um, not many casual fans realize that their favorite G1 characters had different names in Japan a lot of the time. It's a fair thing to mention, especially in the News forum, where you don't even need to register to post. Not everybody's as up on this stuff as forum regulars are.

Uh, yeah, I forgot I should have linked the older threads for him...

Better?

I used to do that, just forgot it this time...

Q: Will all the toys in the TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS line be 1:24 scale?
A: Currently, all cars planned for the TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS line are 1:24 scale.

Q: Will the DECEPTICON ALTERNATORS be modified versions of the AUTOBOT ALTERNATORS? If they are new molds, will they still be cars?
A: The DECEPTICONS in the TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS line will be alternate versions of previous cars in the line with new parts.
A 1:24 scale fighter jet would actually be pretty huge...

Yet not possible.

Are all of Meister's fingers articulated? Or are my eyes simply deceiving me?

Just as much as on the other Alternators, I guess (i.e. index finger moving independently, other three finges moving as a block).
