Well, I got them all for less than you did. What are you getting so excited about? Stop having fun and enjoying toys.

My point exactly, Halfshell. 'Nuff said.

Cliffy, there was an explanation in my post, but it was conveniently left out of your quote.

Can somebody shoot one of us in the head, please? Me or Treadshot, I'm really not fussed which.

THE FACT THAT YOU GOT ONE ON EBAY DOES NOT MEAN NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO GET EXCITED ABOUT A REISSUE.

I'm afraid it'll have to be you, I don't have the AP rounds to get through his skull.

Basically, you got lucky. He tends to go for much more than that. In fact, BBTS has the reissue up for around $50, and that's less than a complete Ratbat usually goes for by himself. The other cassettes are essentially bonuses for people that just want Ratbat.

Slugfest deserves a bit of love too, mind. He's not quite as cute as Overkill (those lickle arms! that tech spec!), but he's still a Stegosette. I did have one, but I sold it to buy Gobots.

Possibly going to be a lot of Steeljaws and Ramhorns on ebay... Ramhorn just doesn't have much charm, while Steeljaw is basically a yellow mangled Ravage. Add in the uninspiring Rewind/Eject mould (how can something designed three years or so on be such a backwards step from the Rumble/Frenzy mould? This is also pretty much confirmation they've lost that one, isn't it?) and the poor Grandslam/Raindance and the peanut headed collection of boxes that was Blaster himself, and the Autobots really did get the shit end of the stick with the cassettes, didn't they?

After the usual unspiring Starscream/Jazz etc. early dredge, Encore really is turning out to have a lot of nice surprises, isn't it?

As no one was expecting this lot to be reissued I'd say there was an outside chance they're holding them back for a third themed set so as to make sure there's some characters people have actually heard of in it.

Alright, fair enough. I just thought that since i got mine easily for like 15 USD (albeit in a lot with Ravage and Rumble totaling 40 USD) it wouldn't make sense to shell out so much for a reissue. Guess i just got lucky.

Yeah, I've been keeping my eye out for both Slugfest and Ratbat on Ebay for the past year or so, and haven't been able to find either for under $20 USD. This set will make life easier for me.

Plus these'll be brand spanking new, which is always really, really nice. It sounds obvious I know, but one of the most enjoyable things about reissues is having the figure all bright and shiny rather than "Y'know, considering it's 20 years old that isn't in bad nick".
