PERFECTLY CORRECT.

G1 Thunderclash had the worst ever deco in transformers history ever. Although Skyquake is a close second.

I think i start to see a theme in this set: Ugly decos. First Skyquake, now Thunderclash... Hope Hasbro/FP catches a lot of Flak for this, preferably from Kup. And a lot of Scourge-ing from the fans would be nice.

The thing is, Sktquake and Thunder Clash, while garish there original toys are so wonderfully, horribly charmingly garish and works far better than Botcons adaptions.

I'm actually left wondering a bit if that's not BotCon Razorclaw, but Collector's Club Razorclaw. It's getting about time to announce those figures as well, isn't it? (Both the new ones for the store, as well as the years' membership exclusive.)

The store ones were, but the 'membership premiums' weren't. Again, not really trying to argue on this point, as I have no idea, but I personally think it would be a lot cooler for the 'Neo-Predacons' to be a 'one per year' giveaway for club membership than to just have Razorclaw as a VERY random filler piece for BotCon.

Yes, i think that's not for Botcon. I fail to see how that would fit the theme this year.

CC membership exclusive sounds more feasible to me. Considering there's already been legends razorclaw at mass retail...

I think if Botcon were to do the predacons, they'd do the minicons/legends versions. They've already done divebomb.

Yeah, what Vanguard said. The Seacons, Astrotrain and Airrazor were boxed, but all of the energon gestalt recolors came in baggies.

Botcon exclusives also come in baggies for the most part. They only make physical boxes for a portion of the 'box sets'.

What can I say, I'm a fan of this character choice.

It fits very well. I'm not a fan of the mold myself (the sides of the boat just kinda sit there), but a good choice for Banzaitron.

Easily the best toy for this year's Botcon. I love when Action Masters get some love.

True, but the hull pieces can be slid off. It may make the mold a parts-former, but the option is there. I have Mirage and it's one of my favorite Energon figures.

Wow. That's just a shame wasting the Energon Mirage mold on Banzaitron. While it does look like him, I never cared for the color scheme of the original nor this. I would have liked to have seen an update for Seaspray for it, or maybe something like that Elita-1 (from the Thunderblast mold), or possibly something we'd never expect like a Man-O-War (from Gobots for those unfamiliar) repaint.

Yeah, but then it wouldn't fit with the theme of each figure either being a poor mold choice or having a garish color scheme.

True. Though I'd rather they stayed on the figure itself just to avoid their getting lost.

Out of curiosity, where would Flak fit in? Last I saw, he was the best-looking of the bunch. And both the original and this Cybetron Defense Scattershot mold turn into the same thing.

He's a fluke. Everyone else fits the formula perfectly. PERFECTLY!

EDIT: Really. He and Leozak are probably the only two figures we've seen so far that aren't tragedies.
