Default After the Transformers 1986 movie, how did the decepticons get their energon without seekers?

They seem to be having a problem with seekers to look for their energon at least in the cartoon anyway?

A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest of decepticons.

Not true, there's no way they'd be able to overcome Amazon Prime.

Don't forget "Seeker" is an after the fact retcon term, there's nothing to indicate that the jets are called that in the cartoon, nor that they have the specific job of seeking anything.

And then there was The New Seekers (made up of Thrust, Dirge and Keith Potger). They knew their job; they wanted to teach the world to sing.

They seek it here, they seek it there
Their clothes are loud, but never square
It will make or break them so they've got to find the best
'Cause they are dedicated followers of energon
