Yeah, I'm sure they announced other stuff but my brain only has room for this right now.

Psylocke looks...well, she looks as good as she can given the engineering that Hasbro uses, but the ridiculous thong will never not look awful in combination with the cut of the female Legends figures' hips. The psychic weapon accessories are great, though.

I cannot believe they made 80s mohawk Storm and not the 70s or 90s versions that all the fanboys were begging for. I thought I was the only one who wanted this version of the character! The lightning effects are awesome, even if they look really weird on this particular outfit since Ororo only had powers for about the first week that she wore it.

I hope Wolverine comes with an alternate head, either the neutral one from the brown-suit figure or an unmasked one (not the awful modern one that they're recycling in the vintage series figure!) The angry face they showed off is great, but it'll really restrict what poses the figure will look good in. I definitely like the look of brown Wolverine more, but this one is good too and it's not like I can't own multiple figures of Canada's best superhero.

Overall, a really good start to the wave! I get the feeling all three of these will be pretty hard to find, so hopefully the rest of the wave is good enough that I can justify just buying a case and skipping retail entirely. Even though I'd then be stuck with a figure of that moron Apocalypse.

Is Steve Ditko, Stan Lee, John Romita Amazing Spider-man simply the best? Didn't that Spider-man single-handedly beat the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-men?

If you're going to post off-topic or very tenuously linked replies, stick to your own threads because other people have even less patience for it than I do and I'm certainly not going to stand in the way of banning another account.

Storm was due another decent figure -- the one in the Jubilee BAF wave seems to fetch stupid prices these days.

Other two are decent as well.

Storm looks really good. Her Mohawk look is the definitive look for her, as far as I'm concerned. Or the black costume she had. I don't like that all silver/ white '90s outfit. Looks yuck.

Ugh. Just when I thought I was satisfied with my small Legends collection as is, Hasbro has to put out that yellow Wolverine. And I just got the brown one not that long ago!

My wallet hates me. And I'm buying that yellow Wolverine, if possible.

So, the rest of the X-Men wave has apparently been revealed...

Multiple Man!

Sabertooth!

Magneto!

Gladiator!

Now, it's quite a few months away and these leaked retailer listing lists seem to change as often as not. But if that's actually what we're getting, and the costume selection isn’t atrocious, I may indeed just preorder the set.

Pics from NYCC!

Madrox is the 90s X-Factor version with the skullcap (though spare head 2 has no cap). Was hoping for the mid 2000s X-Factor Investigations version, but hey ho.

Now that they've broken out the trenchcoat for Madrox and Spidey Noir I fully expect there'll be a Gambit round the corner.

I can't really say that I'm a big Madrox fan, so I'm not really bothered which outfit they give him as long as they make it look good. And they did, so I'm good with it.

Gladiator looks great, but I hope he's not just a one-off and that we get some more of the X-Men's "cosmic" acquaintances. There's a lot of fantastic costumes to choose from, between the Imperial Guard, the Starjammers and the other Shi'ar affiliated folks. Deathbird, Corsair and Binary would be awesome, at the very least. Brood aliens would be neat too, but I'm guessing that's a BAF-only proposition.

I feel bad for anyone who wants to army-build Madrox, though. He's almost certain to be one per case since he's packed with a Wolverine.

Some more bits of news:

Avengers Legends Black Knight, part of the Infinity War line. Looks pretty neat, but not a character I know much about.

Black Panther Legends at a toy show and official photos. I think we can look forward to some of these warming shelves until the end of time.

So much news from Toyfair!

A few Ant Man and The Wasp fiures: http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/to...-photos-288874

Some 10th Anniversary movie stuff: http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/to...legends-288887

A couple more BP figures: http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/to...panther-288895

A second Deadpool wave: http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/to...ol-toys-288905

And about 50 other things: http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/to...auntlet-288917

Obviously the X-stuff is what I'm most interested in, but there's tons of other good stuff too. Sabertooth is everything I'd hoped for. Magneto looks really cool, but I've never seen that outfit before...apparently its the current one. Not super sold on motorcycle/wifebeater Logan. Bishop looks amazing. Sauron looks cool too, but unless I can find the BAF on its own for a decent price I won't get one. Hasbro seems to think that Deadpool is Spider-Man and people will buy a zillion variants of him, but I'm sure not going to. Honestly, I could see some of them stuff becoming awful shelfwarmers.

And what do 90s Bishop, Omega Red and Sauron have to do wih Deadpool, anyway? Cable and Domino in the current wave made sense, but this second wave feels like a weird half-and-half Deadpool and X-Men wave. I guess that's because Deadpool doesn't exactly have the most popular supporting cast, but I figured they would have stuck with Liefeldian X-Force stuff to fill the assortments instead of shoving in random X-dudes.

I'm also a bit puzzled with what they've stuffed in that Deadpool wave. Sauron looks cool, though.

Hasbro are really knocking it out of the park with their action figures. I like the look of all the 10th Anniversary Studios stuff. And Cloak & Dagger! Brilliant.

Cool! Thanks or the information. Not only am I fan of the TF Universe, but I have always - to some degree - been a fan of both DC/Marvel superheroes and supervillains. My favorite superheroes are as listed:

DC - Superman, Batman, Cyborg, Black Lightning, Black Vulcan
Marvel - Incredible Hulk ("Hulk smash!"), Captain America, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Lucas Bishop

Then of course, there are also Spiderman, Thor, Aquaman and Green Lantern following closely behind - with non-DC/non-Marvel characters such as Spawn (an antihero actually) and Brown Hornet (believe it or not) being part of the club as well. Even more so, I like the crossover robot toy lines too, like SWTFs (STAR WARS TRANSFORMERS) and MUTFs (Marvel Universe TRANSFORMERS - How about a lookalike giant robot mech for Black Panther that can transform into a Wakandan air shuttle, Wakandan hovertrain and/or luxury sedan?). I would like to see some STTFs (STAR TREK TRANSFORMERS - like Spock and Captain Kirk having their own lookalike giant robot mechs that can transform) and DCTFs also. (Yes, I have already known that The Guy who has always been the voice for Spock up until his death was also the voice for Galvatron and Sentinel Prime.)

Well, that's my two cents for the Superhero Genre and its connections to the TF Universe. What do each and every one of you think about my ideas? Are they too far out or are they practical?

Also, I forgot to mention that yeah, I do have an appreciation for Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, most of the countless other major DC/Marvel superheroes and superhero teams and a few other non-DC/non-Marvel titles such as WETWORKS, MARSHAL LAW, INFERNO COP and THE MIGHTY HEROES; it's just that I don't really follow them as much as I follow the characters and teams whose names that I mentioned in my previous post, that's all.

Sorry. I just wanna make sure that some folk have a clear idea of what I like, that's all. Next time, I will try to cut down on using too many (sausage) links.

That's cool, but you don't need the links It might be nice to talk to you about this stuff! Marshal Law was the first adult comic I ever read, stumbling across the character in the UK magazine format of Kingdom Of The Blind in a newsagents somewhere in darkest Portsmouth (where all the shooty boats live. And a pointless aircraft carrier).

Inferno Cop is a new one me. That sounds like something an excitable 13 year old would come up with. Is it any good?

From what I heard, IC (INFERNO COP) is already quite a big hit over there in Japan. IC's (main) setting is that infamous post-apocalyptic future - almost like in the ROBOCOP Universe over here in the USA. I have only seen some quick previews of IC, but I have not seen any of the actual episodes yet. Almost immediately while first learning about him, IC himself struck me as actually being a combination of Maniac Cop and Ghost Rider. Given the fact that I tend to watch all types of cops-and-robbers movies and shows (including ROBOCOP and ALMOST HUMAN) anyway, I'm keeping an eye out for IC. The only other Japanese cartoon cop manga/anime series that I'm familiar with are PATLABOR and YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. (I'm trying to keep these Internet links to a minimum.) Otherwise, I would encourage each and every one reading this to check out IC if you haven't done so already. As for ML (MARSHAL LAW), I'm glad that you're very familiar with that title. Back in the early 1990's during my college years, I came across a lot of VERY weird titles, and HARD BOILED and ML were just a couple of them. In fact, I am still looking online if I can still find any of those obscure comic book series. (I cannot mention the names of some of these comics since they were restricted for adults only and TFArchive is somewhat of a PG message board for general audiences. However, I am going through WIKIPEDIA to see if I can find any more of these rare gems - like some of the stuff from Robert Crumb and Guido Crepax. Anyway, ML as a character seems to be a combination of Red Skull and Captain America (I know, troubling isn't it? ) as he somewhat takes on the role of Judge Dredd. (I mentioned Red Skull because if one looks closely at one of ML's pictures, they will find him occasionally wearing swastika-shaped earrings while having a demonic face underneath that mask of his.) Believe me, issues of ML are definitely plagued with a whole of graphic violence, explicit sociopolitical satire and other stuff I really shouldn't mention on this board. Needless to say though, I still enjoy almost all types of comics and cartoons, whether they are highly-publicized and/or "mainstream" - or - whether they underground and/or controversial. I myself have plans to launch both a manga book press for GENERAL audiences and a manga book press for SPECIFIC audiences.
