Default Transformers VS Star Trek Crossover

In this corner people of Cybertron I give you the Klingon Empire! They are under attack by jets, and other assorted vehicles from Earth during the 20th century. Sending out a distress call they receive aid from James Tiberus Kirk!

When Kirk arrives on the Klingon colony a familiar red semi arrives to help him out, will he accept the facts, or damn all Cybertroins to the scrap heap! Find out this September at a comic book store near you!

Hopefully the art is more like this header --

Needs to match the era better than colouring techniques that weren't used for the original material.

Plot sounds by-the-numbers, but with a good script ought to be fun.

Cautiously optimistic. More familiar with Arex and M'Ress from New Frontier and other books (before Peter David went off the deep end) -- reminds me I must dig out TAS and watch it properly one of these days.

If the final issue doesn't give us a transforming Enterprise, what is even the point?

Anyway, I am also cautiously optimistic. It will inevitably be crap, but hopefully it will at least be fun crap.

Honestly I felt a Next Generation/Transformers crossover would be better.

I can see Picard trying to negotiate a peace treaty between Prime, Megatron and Unicron.

Have Data trying to understand the very nature of them.

Throw in the Ferengi trying to capture one to steal its tech for sale.
