Inferno's Death
Is it just me or did anyone else find Inferno's death pretty sad. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when the Nemesis fried him. He was trying so hard to find the Royalty a new colony. And then he sees the Nemesis and believes Megatron is looking for HIM.
'My Queen! We're down here!'
And then the look on his face when he is about to be fried. I felt so sorry for him. Poor Inferno.

I felt sorry for him. Him and Quickstrike were two of the coolest characters and it was tragic how they died. It would of been nice to see them in beast Machines with new bodies

Hey, quickstrike had it comin, if Tigatron hadn't slagged their base, he'd been kibble long before all that. The whole thing certainly ensures you how Megatron thinks about his troops; cannonfodder, no more, no less.
Makes ya kinda wonder about the dental plan this guy had for his trusty minions

Then they'd better stay out of my way!

I found it a very interesting death. Kinda Ironic, Inferno's devotion to Megatron is his downfall. I take the last look on his face of one of realization, at the last moment he figured that all his service to Megatron come to nothing. In short, I loved that death, but maybe I am digging to much into it.

I don't think you're digging too much... I think it's pretty poignant when you look at it... how Megs ruthlessly slaughtered his most loyal warrior, and toughest fighter, just to fry a proto-human...Originally posted by Philcom:

So maybe Cliffjumper shouldn't visit the forum all together
One other thing...how the....hang on
SPOILER
How the hell did Inferno survive that energon blast in 'The Agenda'. He was clearly disintegrated. But I've heard that he just emerged from the cave smouldering.
Unfortunately us people in England have found it difficult to track down The Aftermath and Optimal Situation due to them not being released on video (except I think it was somewhere). Also is anyone able to provide me with some videos of Beast Machines. I'd pay!

Aftermath and Optimal Situation are available on video. Aftermath was packed with the "transmetal" (yeah right) repaint of Scuba; whilst Op Sit was a TRU exclusive (and crops up quite regularly on ebay.co.uk - it'll set you back between five and ten quid)
I don't think "clearly distintegrated" really applies... the energon exploded, and I think we cut away without seeing antboy's fate... he later staggered out of the cavern scorched to a crisp, but still functional...
It's no less believable than Rampage's survival in the same episodes...

Inferno wasnt evil, so i found his death sad, he jsut was trying to protect the "colony" which he would have been doing even if it was the Maximals base.

"Fred was in his BED, on his HEAD, soon to be DEAD, because he ate LEAD"
Why does no one notice that when they say they want a "Pb+J" sandwitch, that "Pb" stands for LEAD in the periodic table. Think about it, this must mean about a 25% of earths population has a death wish!
