Ok which sword and Megatron are you talking about?
If your talking about the Transformers Engeron Megatron role playing sword then you should first try local stores like Target, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Toys R Us, Kay Bee Toys, Meijers, and K-Mart and/or their respected websites.
If they don't have it you can try online stores like
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com
http://www.actionhq.com
http://www.amazon.com
http://www.overstock.com
http://www.buy.com
and if all fails try http://www.ebay.com

Now if your talking about the sword with the Transformers: Energon Megatron it should be the action figure.

Now if you're talking about the new Transformers: Cybertron Megatron toy I regret to tell you that there is no sword with that figure.

http://www.transrepro.com might have a reproduction. However, from what I hear, it takes him a while to get orders done because of health issues.

Thanks for your replies, it is the transformer Energon Megatron action figure I believe.....this is the one.....

There was definately a sword as it was seen before it was lost! I've tried looking on the Hasbro site, but the Megatron they have pictured is not the same one??!! and they have a form to order replacement parts for Hasbro toys, but not for their Transformers!!

This may be a stupid suggestion, but I'm sure it's happened before to someone...

The sword actually can be stored in the nose of the jet. Double check to see that it's not just hiding in there, since it does blend itself in well and is held in flush by a little button.

Just fold the nose down/back and look in the end that goes flush against the rest of the figure when it is in the jet mode.

Yeah, there are lots of different toys called Megatron. Hasbro are very keen to hold on to the trademark -- they've got a movie coming out in 2007 -- so it gets reused a lot.

Do they have a replacement parts section for any of their action figure lines? G.I. Joe, etc?

If you just want a general replacement weapon, you could pick up a smaller Energon toy that comes with one.

eg, this one: http://tfarchive.com/toys/reviews/ene_cruellock.php

Optim Shi, have checked this compartment, but no sword
:( .

Denyer I would like to get the same sword, as opposed to a general one, as the sword fits into a couple on sections on the robot and tank.

Thanks for your help guys, maybe I will try emailing Hasbro.

did you check the plastic bag that came with the instruction sheet and mini comic book ?!
cause the sword AND missile are packaged in there.
The fact that the swords plastic blends cinda well with the plastic bag gives it a great camouflage.

Not a bad point actually... was the sword definitely in the packaging? Some stores in the US seem to reseal returns and stick 'em back on the shelf.

The sword was definately there it just got lost in the chaos of christmas day, it could be in the house somewhere camouflaged!!! as it is see-through, if I do manage to get a replacement that will probably the moment I find the lost one

I will give Hasbro a chance, at least we may get some coupons.

That's what I was thinking. As soon as you quit looking, it'll turn up...

I believe that one is basically transparent so that the LED light in the tank can make it glow, but at the same time, it's also nearly impossible to find once it's on the carpet.

Trying Hasbro's customer service is the best alternative suggested so far that I've seen.
