List of UK Preview Showings of the new Movie this weekend

Post by Halfshell »

Though it doesn't officially open in the UK for another week, the new Movie is subject to a whole slew of preview screenings this weekend.

Empire have been kind enough to draw up a list of cinemas showing the flick:
http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20878

The list claims to be complete, but I'm aware of at least one Cineworld showing the film this weekend which isn't on the list - so make sure to check your local listings just to be certain.

That list is bollocks I know of at least three cinemas within 5 miles of me showing this that arent on the list.
My local Odeon(East Kilbride) isnt on the list and they better be showing it because ive booked my tickets for half 9 tomorrow night! As Brend says better to check the website of whichever company runs your local cinema.
Loss of job. Will sell for food here.

I've just been to see it, and it's F***IN' AWESOME. I'd say visually it's the best for effects i've seen in a long time. Bring on the sequels i say.

I went to see Shrek III this afternoon and there were the preview showings up for Transformers! This was not listed on the Vue website.

Did big eyes things and whiny voice etc act in foyer until husband coughed up for a ticket for the 5:30pm showing just to get the monkey off his back. Took Scraplet1 (aged 10), who hid his face a bit, but came out so hyped you'd think he'd eaten a mountain of sugar.

OMG, when they get round to it, it's frelling AWESOME mecha meyhem!!!

Good for you, Clogs! You seem a sweetheart and I am happy for you and yours! The wife and I will probably be seeing this within the week...

And, BTW, nice public service, Brendocon, posting listings to your fellow Britons of the movie...

I just saw a trailer on TV and it even said at the end "Previews Today". Anyone know why this wasn't the opening weekend instead of next? The number of showings yesterday and today at my local cinema suggest that the cinema thinks this should've been the opening weekend.

Where's the sense going up against the Simpsons movie? This should give you an idea of how my local cinema thinks it's gonna go. Next thursday's number of showing of Transformers per day: 7. Number of showings of Simpsons: 23. Guess who's gonna win?
