As far as I know, Starscream's Coronation Set has to be ordered online and won't be available in stores. As for Classics 2.0 or Universe IIRC, that won't be around until this Fall.

Did they do a deal with Takara to make it a licensed product (vaguely recall something like that...) or is it still just a fan project?

It sorta looks that way. Right now, BBTS is doing a preorder for a Takara imported Masterpiece Starscream with the Coronation set.
