Not bad, at least they are finally making some decent repaints of some of these figures.

Good choices. Colouring is as random as the rest of the Universe stuff.

Yeah, but I think it works.

I'm also noticing something of a colorscheme for the line as a whole though, so I don't think it's so random in that context. Odd choices though the colorschemes may be, I think there's a method to their madness.

I'm just not very fond of strong primary colours, I think.

That's what G1 was all about and most of these are blends of secondary or tertiary colors...at least that's what people seem to be complaining about. ;)

I can't help but believe it was intentional to go with these burnt warm and cool colors in most of the figures in the line. I think Depthcharge looks so much better than the original and I really need to convince myself to spend the money to get the magnificent bastard.

I have been wrestling with the same issue since Depthcharge came out. Should I buy or should I go.:\

Well, I wanna get him since the mold looks so damn good and I like the paintjob.

Here's to hoping TM2 Megatron gets released. :D

Surprisingly I have to agree with you there. Depth Charge in the Universe line looks much better with the blend of black, grey and red, versus his turqouise and pinkish looking colors.

I don't know if there are any good colour schemes left for that mould, TBH. With Megs and Cryotek we have red and blue covered, and I can't think of other colours that would look good on him. Green comes to mind as a 'dragon' colour, but I don't think it would look that good on the mould.

But as to the Universe Cyberjets, I say w00t! Especially Air Raid.

Oh no.. not another TM2 Megatron release. Well.. actually.. since they've done red and blue... why not make a purple one? Green would be interesting, but then it would remind me of Predacon (TM Megatron) from the Armada series.

i think tm2 megatron could go soooo nice with black and some gold for the wings....and maybe some gray/silver in robot mode for a filler....
Really want the original(basic) Rattrap's gun. Please PM me if you have one you might spare!
