Good choices. Colouring is as random as the rest of the Universe stuff.

Yeah, but I think it works.

I'm also noticing something of a colorscheme for the line as a whole though, so I don't think it's so random in that context. Odd choices though the colorschemes may be, I think there's a method to their madness.

That's what G1 was all about and most of these are blends of secondary or tertiary colors...at least that's what people seem to be complaining about.

I can't help but believe it was intentional to go with these burnt warm and cool colors in most of the figures in the line. I think Depthcharge looks so much better than the original and I really need to convince myself to spend the money to get the magnificent bastard.

Surprisingly I have to agree with you there. Depth Charge in the Universe line looks much better with the blend of black, grey and red, versus his turqouise and pinkish looking colors.

I don't know if there are any good colour schemes left for that mould, TBH. With Megs and Cryotek we have red and blue covered, and I can't think of other colours that would look good on him. Green comes to mind as a 'dragon' colour, but I don't think it would look that good on the mould.

But as to the Universe Cyberjets, I say w00t! Especially Air Raid.

Oh no.. not another TM2 Megatron release. Well.. actually.. since they've done red and blue... why not make a purple one? Green would be interesting, but then it would remind me of Predacon (TM Megatron) from the Armada series.

i think tm2 megatron could go soooo nice with black and some gold for the wings....and maybe some gray/silver in robot mode for a filler....
