Haven't listened to the single yet, because I'm scared it'll be terrible. But then, I doubt he'd come off a decade retirement to give us garbage.

Yeah, I saw the article on-line today at work. Apparently the new single sounds quite similar to Thursday's Child. I do hope so because I love that song, and have done since the first time I heard it (which I think was on TV with the music video).
