Remember these?

Shown in Figure Oh! magazine *gasp* 19 months ago.

Looks like at least the Optimus Prime one might finally have a release date...

"Revoltech" is an action figure line by Kaiyodo that's now going to expand onto the TF license, starting with Convoy.

BBTS already has a preorder up...

Note that it's NOT confirmed yet that Revoltech Convoy will indeed be the figure from the old magazine article!

I wouldn't mind that Megatron, if they ever brought it to production. Unless it's another figure that's grossly too small.

not completely, look at the waist & kneejoints, they are different, most probably to make the toy better

Yup, I notice minor changes, but it definitely started out based on the one from those magazine scans. It's not an entirely new sculpt with no relation to the old one.

I 've Heard About These!

I saw pictures of the pictured Optimus and Megatron a week or two ago from this site where you can order toys. (They had them under the 'pre-order' banner). The model's themselves are pretty gorgeous, die-cast? And obviously not transformable...

Maybe...

Maybe it was just the Optimus Prime I saw... don't really recall a Megatron one otherwise I probably would've wet my pants. Any details as to the size? Because I ordered my Hybrid Style Convoy based on how gorgeous that Optimus Prime looked, and was utterly shocked at the cost once I noticed how small he was when I got him.

The idea is that it's uber-poseable, right?
It looks really awesome, I gotta say.
