[RID,UT] Hands up if you'd mind the RiD forum being merged with Armada/Energon...

...I realise they aren't the same continuity, but then again the Armada/Energon comic and cartoon continuities aren't the same either. What they are all is modern TF series with a particular focus on vehicular Transformers and a different flavour to the BW/BM era.

So, the possible plan is to maintain one forum which will continue to have the "latest and greatest" TF series added to it until there's a radical change in strategy from Hasbro, and shift discussion of the Japanese equivalent series into the Japanese forum.

Thoughts? This is only a bit of thinking out loud at this stage.

Personally I like the different RiD-forum for following reasons.
-It's over everywhere unlike Armada/Energon. I try not to read A/E forum because of spoilers.
-There's so little discussion of RiD, that it'd propably get non-existant if it was in the same forum with A/E/C. Especially as Cybertron starts airing.

But if majority wants a merging, I don't object.

I´d keep them separated - it´ll be too confusing, IMO, unless everyone stated in the topic title what he´s refering to.

I also vote for keeping them separate. If anything, it'll avoid confusion down the line. For instance, say some random newcomer says, "what's Optimus Prime like in the TV show?" Then, the logical reply would be, "which TV show?" and so on. Now, imagine if it was someone completely new to TFs, which means can you imagine some of the limited chaos in the folder? It would just be more of a headache for the admin and mods to deal with and you guys complain enough whenever you have to move a topic, so why make a move that would only lead to more aggravation?

I also think they should be kept in two, I don't know ennything about Robots In deskuise, and thats why it should be seperated, so you can find information about the things you dosen't know alot about.

and there has been five agenst it

I think there are too meny differenses between RID and Armada/Energon, it would not work, they are not even drawn in the same way(stupid argument)

They'd need to qualify this question even for Armada/Energon, which are mostly the same continuity. Cybertron is likely to introduce a greater degree of separation again.

Right; another question: how many people discuss Car Robots in this forum? (The Japanese series equivalent to RiD, not TFs that turn into cars.)

I say seperate. Even though RiD gets very little posts, I feel it'd get none if in the energon/armada forum. Plus it seeems like energon and armada universe is growing.
