OMG! He's beautiful! That's the Megs we would all like to remember from G1. Nice little poser, too, by the looks of him and he could certainly inform the French at Agincourt that he can still pull his longbow, know what I mean? Just looovvve the interchangable parts and that sneering face is fab!

Now, what does all that Japanese mean? Anyone? (Squints across oceans towards dear Spengler.)

I'll take any old opportunity to practice my Japanese so I'll have a crack.

"More and more hot Revoltech! The 12th in the line up we were allowed to have is, from the Transformers, the Great Destructive Emperor Megatron. It is a choice that will have core fans spontaneously grinning from ear to ear. His accessories are an extra head and two extra sets of hands. If you have the Convoy we were able to sell a while ago, how about a scuffle?"

I wish they could have made Masterpiece Megs look a bit closer to this guy. Surely there was something they could have done with the legs. Not to mention the face.

OP Revoltech

Post by Iambob13 »

Does anyone have a pic or link to the Optimus Prime Revoltech figure that the description is talking about? Wouldn't mind to be able to get both of them at some point.

Wow, Megs is freakin' awesome. Questions from the uninitiated: what's the Revoltech line? I don't think I've seen these. How much does the Revoltech line sell for?

From what I've gathered, the Revoltech line is a series of PVC statues with articulation out the wazoo (sp?). They also come with interchangeable parts like guns, hands, and heads. The line, from what I've seen, also has Evangelion and Gundam figures. Transformers seems to be a recent addition to the line and it looks as though the Dreamwave designs are being used for reference.

As for prices, BBTS is selling them for around 25 USD (not including shipping) each for Optimus Prime and Megatron. Strangely, why is Magnus around $30 when Prime is $25?

Yes, thanks! That would make the figure about £12.50 ish, certainly worth the money, even with shipping on top.

Is this a Paypal scenario?

(And thanks v much, stoltobot! :D )

Revoltech is more or less what Civ said, but there's no gundams yet to the line. It features mostly characters from anime [with devil may cry 3 thrown in the mix], most of which may be unheard to a casual fan.

Actual price for a revoltech. Magnus costs that much for retailers outside japan because he's an exclusive, but the retail price was the same as with Prime's.

The figures measure at 12 cms tall, less than 5 inches.

Aw crap. I confused the Giant Robo figure for one of those generic Gundam bad guys. My bad. :(
