Holy Sh*t!!!

He looks like the f*ckin' prince of darkness! Looks like I'm spending a bit more on energon than I thought I would.

Wow. I might actually break my 'no TFs over $60 Canadian rule' and buy that.

What I hope now is that there aren't too many Armadacrons out there to make retailers wary...

Considering how many Unicron's are warming the shelves around here, I'd say that's an empty hope. Unfortunately.

It's the same here personally I wish Hasbro would wait a little a
while on Energon Unicron (maybe like in second or third wave)

Kind of makes me wish I had waited for that to come out to get a Unicron figure... Than I realized... I'm too old to 'play transformers' so as a collector, I'll have it anyways :)

He looks awesome in black!

Did you guys see the shipping price on that bid?! $40?! Get the f*ck outta here!!! Nothing that small costs that much to ship!! What a shady seller!! Raising the price to ship just to get an extra buck!!

I may actually buy a TF toy. I never have in my life, but Unicron may change all of that. :smokin:

Er, we are talking about the same product, aren't we? Which will sell at £60 retail if it even makes it over to this country. It's being sent airmail from Hong Kong. And the auction started at ten bucks.

All seems pretty legit to me. Seems a lot less shady than Hasbro themselves.

Well I guess if you're shipping to a different country I guess $40 isn't bad. I'm pretty sure though that if I shipped this figure to someone in the U.S. that it' would be around $25, not $40. That's all I'm sayin'.

When I saw the catalogue pics I thought I'd probably pass on it since I've already got Armada Uni, but now I'm not so sure.

I've noticed that with a lot of stuff (even pre-release) that sellers in Hong Kong start auctions with price + shipping = retail in other country. It's bidders who drive up the price after that. And this isn't even available on general sale yet.

Good thing I passed on Armada Unicron. I don't think I can pass on this one though.

I missed out on acquiring a lot of transformers at their retail releases. A LOT

I missed out on fortress Maximus, something I dearly regret now considering his cost to acquire is THROUGH THE ROOF.

Same thing will be for unicron IMO. He will start being chop-blocked and sold for parts in a couple of years.

I'm sorta new to this whole thing but I really do believe that Unicron - THE FIRST EVER TOY INCARNATION of Unicron - will sell big as a collectors item a few years down the road.

I'll be getting both, already have the armada.

Doubtful. In the "old days" people generally didn't buy things and collect them in graded, sealed boxes. Too many collectors devalue the product... which is a good thing, IMO.

Personally, though I don't think much of the toy anyway, I still prefer the classic orange/grey colours. "Oh, he's evil - let's colour him in black" is really kinda boring.
