Remolded Superlink Galvatron in Galaxy Force?

Post by Nevermore »

From the Japanese TF Image Board (see attached pic).

Looks like he can merge with GF Starscream!

Could this be the "Galvatron" listed in here?

Ooo, very manga-ish. That's with the regular GF SS, yeah?

I like the rather large guns on him. Yeah I'll buy him.
The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

Seems like it might just be a kitbash... well, let's wait and see.

I dont think its a kitbash. Mainly because of the combiner ability with GF SS. I dont think that anyone could have made a kitbash that nice looking that can combine with him in the few short weeks since he was released.

Is it just me, or further down the page is there a concept for a transformer looking very much like Sixshot?

I'm curious as to which character he'll be as I personally doubt that he's meant to be Galvatron proper.

I rather doubt it. That's too involved of a retool of Superlink Galvatron to be a kitbash. After all, deluxe Starscream just came out. A kitbasher would have to be working steadily every day since getting Starscream the first day he came out or have started long before the beginning of the year with inside information to make anything with that much detail.

Still, like you said, we'll just have to wait and see.

Perhaps, but I still agree with The Dark Optimus Prime. I don't think that's been long enough for this involved of a kitbash. If this had come up in March at the earliest, then I would agree that a dedicated kitbasher could have made it.

New robot head, new shoulder cannons, new drone tank, new robot chest, new nosecone/gun attachment, new paint job, maybe new wings, new combination with Starscream. I just think that's a bit too involved for a kitbasher to crank out in only one month.
They might have if they'd bought a deluxe Starscream prototype (provided any leaked out; since it's Takara, I rather doubt it). Or, having started their kitbash sometime earlier last year, they noticed that, by happy coincidence, Starscream can 'sort of' combine with the kitbash and just made some minor alterations to take advantage of that.

But, what do I know of kitbashing? You are most likely correct (Edit ~ especially now that I've read through TFW2005's thread).
No offense, but I hope those who claim it's a custom are wrong. I'd like that guy. :)
