The pics he supplied show a range of approaches to TFs, for anyone worried the Spotlight issues will be too stylised for their tastes...

I'm actually quite impressed by his eloquence and writing skills, to be honest.
His interview is very well written for someone whose spends most of his time drawing.
In fact, from this interview alone, to go with the requisite imaginative skills an artist must have, I bet he could do a great job as writer on the title.

Interesting variety of styles in his artwork samples. The cartoony ones are kinda funny, though nothing I'd want to see in a seriously toned story. The more realistic ones, though not actually the same style, kinda remind me of one of my favorite artists, Geoff Senior, in that they're "different" from the ultra-realistic approach artists from more recent years have taken (if you ignore Pat Lee/Rob Ruffolo's "Stay Puft" influence), yet still present some very eye-catching dynamics.
The Blaster cover looks particularly nice. It's old-fashioned in a good, anti-"'cool' pose of random character X/character A in a brawl against character B" way.

Preatty much everything he said of his experiences of the Formies as a kid had me noding and going "yeah, me to". Shame his rather fab Afterdeath cover wasn't in the samples...
