Drag Strip's a girl? :eyebrow:

Motormaster's gonna be a repaint of Optimus Prime, I take it?

I don't know, considering how styalised the Animated toys are, if I were to look at that without knowing it was an Arcee repaint I'd not think of it as a tittybot.

Well, clearly you haven't examined the figure's pubic mound closely enough*.

But, in all seriousness -- yeah, I agree. It'd pass for a sleeker "male" body-type.

Hmmm, it does seem to slope inwards suggesting a female physiology. I may have to draw some pictures of her getting shagged by porn star 'tache Dead End (it's art people!).

Those all look terrible to be frank. I wouldn't even buy them at normal retail costs, little alone the high amount they will undoubtedly sale them for. I hope that the other exclusives will not be Animated figures, as I'll probably actually go this year since it is only a 3 hour drive to Pasadena, which I'm surprised they are having it there again so soon.

Dead End is absolutely awesome! Sort of John Waters/Vincent Price in plastic robot format.

J'adore!

I'm rather fond of this set. I'd actually pay a "reasonable*" price for them if I could get my hands on them. I own the original Stunticons, and I like the Animated figures over all, nevermind the fact that they've picked some of my favorite molds from the line, so owning them would at least add something to my collection.

*I say reasonable for BotCon exclusives, not normal retail

It's nice they've gone for a different head, but it really doesn't stop it looking like Optimus Prime wearing a bag. He's just one of those characters who too distinctive in look to repaint well as others.

Well, it was a good idea, animated stunticons. I don't much like the end result.
Yeah, and what Dalek said.

I think what would have helped is if he'd had a sculpted face (which the original managed way back in '85), as it is in this photo it looks like Prime's at a fancy dress party as the Elephant Man.

Now, allowing for my limited knowledge of Animated I think redoing Ultra Magnus would have worked better. It's more of a departure for the vehicle mode, but it's still fairly truckey and he already has a square head thing going for him, tweak it a bit by removing the antenna and in the right colours he'd be a lot closer than this.
