3 disks? Is it season 1?
It says Complete Series so I'm assuming it's both of them... You could just fit 26 episodes on three discs, but they'll be little or no room for extra features...
Since when have Warner Brothers being doing TF DVD's?

I think Warner got the rights a few months back. Maybe longer.
Never really bothered me. Everything's organic at a base level. Rock and metal are both minerals.
Comic way; Primus inhabited an asteroid. I've no problem with it being organic initially.
Cartoon way; no reason the Quintessons couldn't have terraformed an organic world into being mainly mechanical. The "Key to Vector Sigma" eps show how it's possible (and was even tapped into in BM itself). "The Dweller in the Depths" showed soil deep within the planet.
It's a hefty retcon to accept, I know, but it's not too much of a stretch. My problems with BM extend more to the "godawful quasi-mysticism and annihilation of Rhinox's character" aspect...

Ahhh, I thought it was Paramount who had the TF DVD rights. That'll teach me not to pay attention...Originally posted by The HeartBrend Kid

Well, this will definitely go on my list to buy, after BW and G1S1 but before Armada and G2S2-3.
I'm pretty excited nonetheless.

I definately agree on the annihilation of Rhinox's character.
I think they could of come up with a better story line or explanation of things.

Might be a stupid question, but US or Canadian release?
$60 sounds more like 26 than 13 episodes. At least if compared to Rhino's BW boxes.
well, it IS 26 episodes: complete series means both seasons of 13 eps
BTFA, 2 year anniversary
That's only very early description without any details. Most propably both seasons, but not sure yet.Originally posted by Cyclone_X

Also, sometimes DVD boxes aren't that well named.

Oh for ****s' sakes...
ROCK DOES NOT EQUAL LIFE
No one is going around saying 'look, the moon is made of ROCK! Obviously there is or was organic life there!'
'ORGANIC', IN THE SENSE THAT BM REQUIRES IT, REQUIRES ****ING HYDROCARBONS. A ****ING ROCK IS NOT ****ING PROOF OF ****ING ORGANIC HYDROCARBON LIFE YOU ****ING MORONS!
There.. done.. quite cathardic really.
(As an aside, having Cybertron have a previous 'lush' state billions of years ago is fine, but claiming that a ROCK is proof of that is just stupid, guys.)

Dude, calm down.
I SAID I was being cathardic.
This is actually one of the worst of the 'Beast Machines Rules You All' threads from a.t.t, citing that Cybertron has a natural core as 'proof' that Cybertron was once earth-like. By that logic, all 10 planets and the hundreds of moons in our solar system would have life too ...
Nevermind that 'Cybertron's gooey core' acts like anything BUT organic life, and instead has the physics and logistics of REBOOT instead. (Right down to enemies and buildings 'derezzing' into bits, right out of Tron.)
Certainly it's possible that, at some point over 35 million years ago, the Quints came along an organic world and eventually built up the Cybertron we see in G1. Yet, that is at least 35 million years... does it then follow that just because something was once there all that time ago, that it makes sense to put it back?
Again, that has as much logic as 'kill all the complex hydrocarbons! The primodial ooze must reign again!' That is to say... none.
