I hate dialup

I just spent a good minute swearing at the top of my lungs at my f*cking connection because it kept connecting and disconnecting. In less than a week I'm going to be moving into my apartment at school, and I swear, for the rest of my life, I will NEVER EVER have dialup to connect to the internet (at least in my home). Getting a cable modem connection next Monday, and incidentally, during the move-in and all, I probably won't be around too often for about two weeks starting this Saturday.

dial-up isn't always so bad. i don't usually have problems with mine. i think it's all a simple matter of you get what you pay for, i mean, if you go "bargain-hunting" like i know some are prone to do, i can see where it would be easy for your connection to be garbage.

I don't think I've gone around telling people we are all doomed so much in my life. Two Auros' that can only spell the ultimate fall of the board. This is deadlier then Brenyer91!

Uh I used dial up till a month ago...must admit I had some awful experiences ugh...oh and the mighty telephone bill heh heh

Trying to download anything on a dialup is horrendous, let alone 20-minute episodes. It took me almost a month to dl my Ultimate Doom pts. 1-3 all in one file. I truly hate this thing, and its costing me $30/month!

I'm on Dialup... pretty much FORCED to, believe me I'd LOVE to have ADSL but it's juat too expencive, and "catch" ridden here in Australia...
