A massive epic by Stephen Speilberg featuring a Martian invasion during the Victorian era. Oh wait, that was ruined by Paramount.
Transformers.
Transformers.

It's bad enough all the TF merchandise coming out in 2007, but then I've got to go to the flicks for:
Harry Potter
Shrek the Third
Ghost Rider
Rise of the Silver Surfer
Pirates of the Caribbean 3
TMNT
Something or other called Transformers
Normally, I will visit the cinematic emporium once every blue moon or so, but I have to see all the above and await with anticipation Iron Man. And I'll have to take at least one of the Scraplets with me - unless these films get more than PG certs in the UK.

Aside from the aforementioned flicks, Hannibal Rising could be interesting - though the prequel aspect does sound a bit generic.
Even Kim Newman- A man who's made a carea out of championing bad Movies- thought it was ****e.

Yep, this Autumn.
Question is, will Parmount go full out and release it in the theaters or not. Originally they said yes, but I'm doubtful at this point (just for the simple reason that it's being questioned).
Also, would have definatley preferred live action to animation, but at this point, I'll take what I can get.

seen hannibal rising..it was enjoyable.
I mean it wasnt awful by any means it just wasnt exceptionble like silence of the lambs but as the screenplay was done by the author there was a certain amount of quality control anyway.
you wont be overly amazed by it but youll have some moments of "ohh so thats why he went on to eat people". all in all there isnt really anything in it to give you a strong violent reaction to it. its all very mediocre/ standard entertainment fare.

Sweet monkey ****ing Jesus that was boring and pretentious.
I've seen The Usual Suspects already, thanks. Neither big nor clever.
Yeah, I thought the ending was very "Usual Suspectsish" as well.
Movies I'm looking forward to:
300
Grindhouse
Sunshine
28 Months Later
Transformers
Spidey 3
Simpsons Movie
On another note, I saw Zodiac yesterday and it was surprisingly good. Robert Downey Jr. is the man.

Ditto with Hannibal Rising. Not good, not bad...just mediocre. The cliche-ridden dialogue and pointless references to the previous films drove me ****ing nuts! It didn't do whole lot towards enriching the preexisting Hannibal anthology. Kind of pointless, really.
