eBay feedback searching tip

Post by Denyer »

This seems to be new, or at least I hadn't see it before...

Pick a seller.

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI ... superstore

Choose "Past 12 months" from the menu on the right.

You can now filter by neutral, negative, etc.

How long's this been there?

~ 2 months.

I do like the newish star rating thing, though. Means you can leave some broad positive feedback, but go some way towards intimating that the postage was too high or whatever without fearing reciprocation.

Mmm. Although the people who get stuff bought by new eBayers will probably wind up with three stars across the board, and I strongly suspect most people don't click through and read feedback in the first place... still, a step in the right direction even if I haven't bothered to fill them in for most of the transactions I've made recently...

I know Friday and Monday are out, but any idea if post offices are open on Saturday this weekend?

Yep, they are - might be midday closing all round, though, even in larger ones. Likely to be hectic in any small ones near businesses, though...

I do find the "recent feedback" thing very helpful... It's nice to be able to check the nature of negatives (were they a buyer or seller, was the person leaving the feedback an idiot, etc.).

toolhaus.org also weeds out the negatives and neutrals.
