Gosh, that Prime could have been awesome..I'm kinda disappointed that it turned out to be a figure for kids, for me,it looks strange proportioned. But I'm looking forward to that Leader Class Magnus, sure he'll look great.

Autobot Blaster is a repaint of the Japanese Soundblaster
"And also the US-and-elsewhere released Soundwave, but that doesn't sound as exotic..."

Yeah, it's not a draw. I've seen some folk do kitbashes of Soundwave into Blaster involving a new head, and it works a lot better that way...

...Ah! Found it. It was the super-awesome Japanese kitbasher whose pages I can't read.

That Blaster might just be the ugliest new toy I've seen in years. The other Cybertron repaint (that's the Quickmix mold, right? Pity they didn't do him up as G1 Quickmix, then...) is much better, but so bland and generic that I can't imagine wanting to buy it.

Octane's robot mode doesn't look as good in this shot as it did when we saw the prototypes. He doesn't look much better than Astrotrain, but he's still not bad.

Sunstreaker and Prowl both look awesome in colour and properly transformed.

Powerglide doesn't look bad, but he really, really needs more colour and less white. I know they wanted to give the alt-mode a realistic colour scheme, but he's just so plain. Just making the silver detailing a bit darker would do a world of good.

Onslaught still doesn't inspire me as an Ultra, and his head doesn't look right in that pic. Too narrow, maybe?

In a normal Classics scale mould? That's quite nifty.

I like Galvatron, actually I like all the Universe guys sans Blaster. Ugg bad choice there but otherwise Hasbro will get a fair chunk of my money.

Hey NEvermore, can you mirror some of those images? Some of us are not members of TFW2005 and cannot access those pages.

Supposedly there are pics up at TFW2005, for those that can get them to load...
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-ima ... nsformers/

EDIT: Dude, in order to mirror them, I'd need to be able to access them first... The site is simply not loading due to EXTREMELY high traffic. Sorry.

Interesting. The new Galvatron is a tank. Very interesting. The only thing I don't like is they broke the treads again. WHY!!!!!!!! You must never break the treads! Broken caterpillar treads are a bad thing. They fall off.

Works better if you extend browser request time-outs.

Only bothered with bits that looked new; we've seen the new mould Classics...

The Autobot cars look pretty sharp and Galvatron? Those are the three I'm looking forward to most. Powerglide looks cool, but I'm starting to pick and choose my larger tfs, and I'd rather have Galvy. Probably won't grab a whole lot of large ones, aside from major players and cast members from future movies. After Skylinx and Omega are out I probably won't snag too many more large reissues. Just give me Ramjet and Thrust, Takara. They're the last two seekers I need. Then I'm set with G1 unless they find or recast Mirage, Wheeljack and Sunstreaker. Maybe I'll pick up Overlord.

EDIT: Weird! The attacked images in Denyer's post are causing the left portion of the posts to get chopped off after editing. Is anyone else finding that? I got plenty of space on either side, but it doesn't stretch the field like it used to.

Keep checking back the ASMzine link Denyer posted. I've seen their images, and they're cool. Just not finished yet.

Daft as I am when I first read about Blaster being a repaint of Soundblaster I thought it was a horrid mishmash of the Hasbro G1 Soundwave reissue in new colours. Luckily it's not or I'd have to kick arse.

Out of this wave, Sunstreaker, Prowl, Galvatron and (surprisingly) Powerglide are on my "Gotta Get" list.

Octane/Tankor is a definate maybe.

Any idea who/what Heavy Load is supposed to be?
