what hapen to the matrix after optimus prime returned and used the knowledge that it contained of the past leaders?

He used it as a key to reawaken vector sigma and talk with A3. After that, he stuck it back in his chest and did stuff with it. In the comics, he had it up until he was devoured by the swarm. He shared the vision of primus in the matrix with them, as he was being devoured, and they rebuilt him as a reward. They may or may not have remade the matrix.
