I had my suspicions... He was always very awkward in groups. Maybe Autobot culture just didn't appreciate the hobo lifestyle during G1...

i was never a big fan of ultra magnus basically because his g1 toy was, for want of a better word, pathetic. and so subsequent reinvention of him has endeared him to me any more, rid magnus just seems to be a tosser whos only use in life is to link up with prime and here he seems to be a bit of a waster with a stupid god complex dishing out his own brand of justice. he will be wearing a cape next

It'll be interesting to know if there are any further back stories on "why" his personality is like that. Hopefully the spotlight will have flashbacks to his past that has created the psychology of "Ultra Magnus", he has to be a loner for a reason after all!

and how does this even relate to the topic? are you even trying not to be a troll and lend some nifty opinions w/o doing what you just did? you sir, have just become the lowest form of life in my book, an amoeba with no true thought processes besides what you just said. i am glad the mods banned you, and if you can read this still, i hope you grow a brain and learn how to give a real opinion properly on any topic.

In all seriousness, though, I think this could be really good.

Ultra Magnus is a rather iconic character, but we really know little about him or what made him so... erm... serious.

I actually like the idea of the big guy being some sort of peacemaker and MP.

Shall most definitely be picking it up!

The weight of fellow Autobots' expectations when he was created as the ultimate Autobot warrior to lead their subjigated forces on Cybertron? Getting beaten up by Galvatron on a bi-monthly basis? That his face changed every week? That Furman forgot about him suddenly for no real reason (yes, I know)? Having no discernable legs? That his missile launchers were at slightly different levels, and thus looked stupid? That lots of people got him with an unpainted face, and hate him solely because of that?

Alas, mine suffered that fate... but I still liked him! (Although I really hate that figure now, I still love the guy...)
