Hasbro UK are just testing the water to see if it's worth bringing Universe over here I think (though considering they're in Energon packaging, shouldn't they have renamed them minicon combiners?). They've sold very fast at work despite being only half the price of a minicon set with a third of the figures...

there's nothing to explain

series 1 = protectomicromasters (already out in Benelux)
series 2 = constructomicromasters (already out in Benelux)

and the TFU Tiny Tin minicons where Armada Tiny Tin minicons in Benelux
this because Europe will never get a full TFU line

I found all 6 in Tesco tonight, at £2.97 each, so I bought the set.

I'd be more tempted if they, y'know, made any changes to the figure. As it is, I've got Sixturbo. Wooo.

Well, I brought mine from the 'co too... but somehow picked up Prowl twice instead of First Aid. I'm an idiot... :wall:

My local TRU has them all except for Hot Spot so I did'nt bother. Knowing my luck. I'd buy the 5 and then never see the one I need.

TRU also had Energon Bulkhead, Unicron, Prime and Landmine on the shelves. Also had Armada Leserbeak still there and loads of G1 Powermaster Primes.

DID get one suprise though when I went in there. They had Galaxy Force figures (Convoy and Megatron £49.99 each and Thundercracker and Starscream £24.99 each) Picked up a Starscream :D

How do Prowl fit in the Protectobots?

Because Hasbro took six figures that have bugger-all to do with the Protectobots, and jammed old names on them in a lame attempt to make it fit.

Or, more literally, he's the torso.

This makes the fourth (!) "Prowl" toy in the Universe line. So far, we have:

- Armada Emergency Team Mini-Con Prowl repaint (came with Universe Stockade & Magna Stampede)
- KB Toys exclusive Micromaster Series I repaint of Operation Combination Road Police
- Wal*Mart exclusive RiD Prowl repaint
- Wal*Mart exclusive RiD Spychanger Prowl 2 repaint that looks like G1 Red Alert (came with Universe Spychanger Optimus Prime)

A fifth "Universe" Prowl toy would be the repackaged "G1" Spychanger Prowl (yet another RiD Prowl 2 repaint) that was sold in Australia.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Best damn Universe figure yet, by miles. Not only did they put some effort in and actually change the thing, but they didn't let some sugar-high eight-year old decide the colour scheme with some crayons.

The G1 Prowl Spychanger rocks too. Amazing what decent paint apps can do to a mediocre mould, as Prowl2 was one of my least favourite RiD Spychangers...

Are you sure these aren't Energon? I picked them up a couple of weeks ago and I'm pretty certain they are.
